We were so very thrilled and relieved to pull into the driveway of Abbington Green after two months of quarantine and two canceled trips in between. Waiting for us as always was Nick, be-masked and smiling - which we knew because Nick smiles with his eyes anyway. Walking into one of our favorite rooms, Kew Garden, was like stepping back into life as it was before stay at home orders were put in place, when trips to Abbington were frequent and Asheville was alive and hopping. Nick has not missed a beat between then and now in his care for the Inn and his preparations to welcome his returning friends and new guests, who get to see the same Abbington Green that we have known and loved before quarantine. The Inn is immaculately clean always, so during this time of COVID-19, it is so reassuring to know that Nick has stepped it up even more to follow state and local restrictions and regulations. Everything was as exquisite as always even with modifications in how food is to be served and enjoyed, mask-wear, and visiting socially distanced on the grand porch. Nick is the consummate host and wouldn’t let these weird, upside-down times hinder his unparalleled hospitality and professionalism or cause guests to miss out on all the wonderful Abbington ambiance and welcome that we returning folk have come to know and love and that have been this beautiful Inn’s reputation always. So happy we were finally able to escape isolation to return to our mountain home and see our friends-now-family, as Asheville begins to shake off its sleep and awaken to welcome us travelers back to the Land of Sky. Escape, relaxation, recreation, (and health safety!) await you at Abbington Green! See you there! Margie and Tommy Hodgin Kernersville, NC.

My wife and I have visited Abbington 10 times now; It is our favorite place to stay on our quick getaways to Asheville. The food is always delicious, the hospitality is top-notch, and the rooms are quiet, peaceful, and comfortable. We will be back an 11th and 12th and countless times after that.

We are even more grateful during these times of social distancing to hear from our treasured guests! To call you two guests doesn't seem adequate! You are a part of our Abbington Green Family. Thank you for your visit (#10!) before the hospitality shut down. I'm glad that you got to try a new restaurant and that you continue to visit old favorites while in town. We look forward to having you closer to us in proximity so that we might have the chance to see you again sooner. Thank you for being great guests and wonderful ambassadors for us. We look forward to seeing you soon! All the best, --Nick

Nick and his staff went above and beyond to make our stay in Asheville so wonderful. At the last minute we were able to change from a single room to the 2 bedroom carriage house so that other family could join us. The breakfast was outstanding as was the nightly social hour. Thanks for a great weekend!

Thank you for your stay with us at Abbington Green Bed & Breakfast Inn and Spa, in our Eaton Square Suite located in the Carriage House. We're so glad that you decided to keep your reservation and add your son and his friend into your stay-Eaton Square, with its two floors and 2 bedrooms, seemed to work out perfectly for you all! It was great fun to hear about your adventures, and see your happy family enjoying the Inn and time in Asheville. We hope that when Asheville and the tourism industry reopens that we'll be on your list to travel to. Thank you again! All the best, --Nick

I should have written this review last July, after we spent 3 terrific nights as the guests of Nict, Steve, Carey and the rest of the Abbington Staff. The breakfasts, different and generous each morning, were among the highlights of our visit to Asheville. Nick is a great hotelier. He can help you with restaurants and the Abbington Green sells a two day ticket for the Biltmore that is a great bargain. When in Nashville, stay at the Abbington if you can. You will be delighted.

We're happy to hear from you any time! Thank you for your kind words, and for thinking of us here at Abbington Green Bed & Breakfast Inn and Spa all this time. We love having the chance to share our hometown of Asheville with our guests...and suggesting restaurants and things to do, including a visit to the Biltmore Estate are all a part of that. With so many great eateries in our town, I'm humbled by your estimation of our daily breakfasts! We use as much local and organically grown and sourced products in our breakfasts and 5pm Social Hour offerings. It's important to me that you get to experience what Asheville has to offer during your stay, whether it is short or long. We hope that you'll return for another visit to our area and to Abbington Green some day soon! All the best, --Nick

We really enjoyed our stay at Abbington Green. Nick and his staff were so welcoming and friendly. Their attention to every detail was outstanding. The property itself is beautiful and our room was delightful. Our room had a very comfortable bed, a luxurious bath, and a fireplace. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evening since the weather was warm enough. The location is within walking distance of downtown Asheville but the neighborhood itself was very quiet. Breakfast each morning was a delicious treat which included fresh juices, fruit, and homemade specialties including French toast with orange sauce and some of the best bacon we had ever tasted. There were also drinks and snacks available during the day. The afternoon social hour is a nice way to meet other guests, chat, and enjoy a glass of wine and some light snacks. We also enjoyed a very relaxing massage in the spa. The staff's knowledge of Asheville was very helpful when some of the things we had planned to do fell through. We would definitely stay here again when we are next in Asheville.

Thank you for your March stay with us at Abbington Green Bed & Breakfast Inn and Spa! You were here on the last weekend before the shutdown and you all made such good use of your time and were so flexible, it was great. I'm glad that our Kew Garden Room was to your liking...it really is a wonderful room, and a guest favorite. Decorated in shades of blue in many coordinating patterns, it is cozy and has an original to the home fireplace. March is a nice time to visit, in that you can have warm days on the porch and cool nights to light the fireplace in your room! We are lucky to have guests like you and hope you'll return for another visit when we are up and running again after the COVID19 shutdowns are over. Thank you again for your stay. It was our pleasure to host your visit! All the best, --Nick
