Perfect get away place in the heart of town. Easy to find your way around. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Food was fantastic. I would stay here again. It was perfect just sitting by the fireplace, drinking hot tea and reading a good book

Thanks for your inquiry. I do not think it is an easy walk to the main/fun part of downtown. It is just a little too far - about 1.5 mile to the Orange Peel (music hall), 2 miles to downtown's Pack Monument (I consider this monument to be town center). I recommend driving and parking in one of the garages. All the garages are free first hour, $1.00 each hour thereafter (except for special events - $7-10 ea visit).
