This was our first mini vacay since the summer of 2019 so I was really hoping for something special and we definitely got it with this hotel. My husband found it online and it was probably one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at for so many reasons. The clubby intimate atmosphere was perfect for the times we're living through now. I felt safe and that's saying a lot. The charming historical atmosphere was so gorgeous -- every detail was thoughtfully considered and the complimentary beverages and snacks were a nice touch. We stayed in one of the two double queen suites (#204) because we were traveling with our adult son. The suite was absolutely perfect in every way. I was immediately struck by the super cool decor and the pristine cleanliness of every area. Having a compact kitchen and washer and dryer was such a plus when traveling for a few days. The suite was very cozy but still provided enough room to spread out so we didn't feel on top of each other. The staff was first rate and attentive on every level. If I could give it more than five stars I would. A perfect location and a perfect stay. Looking forward to returning many times!

The Windsor is a treasure! It’s a beautiful, well-appointed boutique hotel in the heart of downtown. The staff is outstanding and the suite-style rooms have everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It’s unbelievable that they offer free parking! I would highly recommend the Windsor to anyone who is looking for a downtown hotel in Asheville!

Stayed here the weekend of my wedding, and the experience despite COVID, was superb. The room (305) decor was beautiful and cozy. All the in-room amenities of a luxury chain hotel (and I’ve stayed at a lot of 5* hotels), with the added conveniences of a kitchen and laundry. The room and public areas are very charming.

Our 1st visit to Asheville though short was magnificent. It was our 25th anniversary and we were wiping each other’s tears having dropped off our oldest at college. The staff at Windsor are the absolute best and the hotel is beyond charming and perfectly situated in downtown Asheville. Can’t wait to return
