Stayed the Saturday night between Christmas and New Years. There was a cold rain coming down when we arrived and we were greeted by a warm inviting lobby with complimentary wine. They still use real keys which was kind of special. You're transported back to the 20's by the restored exterior and interior of the building. We were upgraded to...

We spent only one night at this hotel, but it was enough to fall in love with the place. The building is historic and beautifully renovated. Everything was not only clean, but immaculate and so well maintained. Not one stain or ding in sight! The suite was large & comfortably furnished, the bathroom was a tad small but served its...

This ended up being the only B&B that rented for one night. All the others are a 2 night minimum. There are only 3 hotels downtown and they were booked. The room was nice but expensive. It cost around $240 with taxes. The hotel is beautiful and historic. They offered hors d'oeuvres and wine during the evening and breakfast that...

We spent four glorious days in the Asheville area basing out of the Princess Anne Hotel. Our suite was quiet and lovely. Breakfast each morning included several tempting options and we tried them all over the course of the stay. Because we were traveling with several other couples, we missed the wine and appetizers each day - clearly we need...

This little hotel is located in an older residential neighborhood just north of downtown Asheville. It was easy to find, with great access to the interstate and main roads into the downtown area. Our room was a suite, with very comfortable living space complete with a little kitchenette that included pots and pans, dishes, cups, etc. And of course the...

We thoroughly enjoyed our three days at the Princess Anne. It had easy access from I-240, to downtown, to Biltmore Village, and to "the strip" along Tunnel Road. The suites were huge, and it was nice having the small fridge in the room. Breakfasts were wonderful, and the wine and appetizers at 4:30 were the best we have ever had...

My wife and I enjoyed2 nights after Christmas.. We were very glad we opted for the Princess Anne after encountering massive crowds at the Grove Park. We walked up there and we're shocked at the crowd and unimpressed with the condition of the facility.
