The Princess Anne is the perfect place to stay for a trip to Ashville. It was convenient to to town and to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Most of all, this historic inn was comfortable from the very lovely welcome, to the suite room, and great breakfasts. it was so nice to come back at the end of the day and... More

High quality, spacious, and excellent food, Princess Anne will take care of even the weariest traveler. I was quite pleasantly surprised by how much space there was for this being a BnB. Perhaps I haven't visited enough. They have only 1 hour for breakfast, but they offer 1.5-hr wine and cheese event every evening that is a delight. For being... More

We decided on Asheville for our Anniversary trip this year. The Princess Anne was the perfect place to stay. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. We were on 2nd floor and the elevator is an interesting ride! The downstairs is gracious and inviting. Two large rooms to gather and a Front and back porch choice of wonderful seating. It is... Friends had recommended the Princess Anne, but this was my first stay there. We thought our GPS had led us astray because we found ourselves in an historic residential neighborhood - not a commercial area where you would expect to find a hotel these days. The hotel was elegant and gracious. Our suite rooms were spacious and recently updated. We... More

Most of the rooms are suites, at basically a hotel room price. Nice to be able to spread out and not fill cramped. Even in the bedroom, it's not a small room with a big bed like many hotels. Breakfast was limited but very good. Kind of B&B style, but without having to sit with people you don't know. Plenty... More

My wife and I travel to Asheville several times a year. We have stayed at many hotels and this by far is our favorite to date! The hotel is rich in history, beautiful, and clean. The staff is friendly. Rooms are well appointed, and most importantly clean! We were both pleasantly surprised with how good breakfast was. I would highly... More

This was the second time we stayed the night at the Princess Anne. We love the location, it is quite yet close enough to town. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, I feel right at home as soon as I enter and the decor is very charming. There is great off street parking... More

My husband and I spent the weekend at the Princess Anne Hotel and we absolutely loved it! The room was amazing and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel had a personal feel you can't find in larger hotels. Between the breakfast, cocktail hour, and proximity to downtown, we could not have asked for a better hotel. Our... More

Excellent inn located near all the downtown galleries and restaurants. For an older building it is very well maintained and the air conditioners in each room were great! The Inn is quiet with plenty of outdoor space for relaxing after a long day of shopping. Staff is always available and attentive to any requests. Street parking was easily accessible so... More

My husband and I enjoyed a four night stay for our "Babymoon" at this historic hotel. The breakfast every morning (served from 8:30-9:30 and included in the room rate) was wonderful. The afternoon appetizers and wine (available from 4:30-6:00) were also a nice included bonus when coming back to the hotel after exploring Asheville during the day. The room was... More
