This historic hotel is simply beautiful! The entire staff is sincerely focused on making your stay simply the best- they are attentive, caring and very knowledgeable. The location is perfect! Hidden away in the neighborhood, yet walking distance from downtown. The food and wine were simply exception! Can't wait to return again next fall.

Hotel's Favorite
Historic Inn oozing with charm. Convenient, safe parking behind the Inn. Can’t say enough about the staff - they were all friendly, helpful, and engaging. Breakfast provided was ample and tasty - 4 options available and two were vegetarian which pleased the other couple traveling with us. Wine and appetizers provided each afternoon were quite nice. And the homemade cookies/brownies provided throughout the day - heavenly. The chef/baker here is just exceptional. Remember this is a historic inn so yes, the floors creak. Our bedroom tv was on the side wall so yes, you had to look sideways. No, it doesn’t have a magnifying makeup mirror in the bathroom. But the friendliness and expertise of the staff - and the great baked goods - more than makes up for any non-modern inconveniences.

Hi RonC979! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. It's great to hear you were able to enjoy a lot of the amenities we provide at the Princess Anne Hotel. Chef Ness is fantastic! I always, very much, enjoy the brownies...probably more than I should. I'm happy to tell you I have just ordered magnifying mirrors for all the rooms. I always appreciate hearing from our guests. Thank you for that suggestion. We hope to see you again!

I had previously booked this hotel to attend a conference at the Omni Grove Park since it isn’t far away. Unexpectedly my best friend passed away the week before and I hadn’t been able to eat or sleep well in days. Staying here I was able to sleep through the night again and regain my appetite as it is a very relaxing and charming hotel. I liked reading the description of the history behind it. I enjoyed my room and all the unique architecture, finishings, and other things about this hotel. The fresh breakfast, happy hour with wine and charcuterie plate, basket of homemade baked good to grab and go, infused water, were all nice complimentary touches. The neighborhood is safe and peaceful, but in walking distance to some lunch spots.

Our stay at the Princess Anne hotel in Asheville was nothing short of wonderful. First off the staff was exceptionally accommodating. Jenni, Sam and every person we had contact with were personable, professional and quite helpful. The accommodations were terrific and given its historical designation was charming as well. We stayed in a superior room which had everything one could ask for. A small fridge, a stove top and a nespresso machine which we thoroughly enjoyed. The bedding was very comfortable. Add to this the outstanding full hot breakfasts with four different choices, the happy hour from 4:30 to 6:00 every day with a great selection of premium wines and a great charcuterie boards and it really enhanced our stay. The hotel is well situated for easy access to downtown and all the sites worth seeing in Asheville and from the time you enter until you check out, you are made to feel like a valued guest. Thank you for a great stay.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at the princess and hotel. What a lovely old building sit in a quiet section of Asheville. We had a master suite on the third floor which was perfect for us. We have space to move around after a day of exploring all the Nashville has to offer. Most of all the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfasts were fantastic and there was something for every palate. We are already checking our calendar to see when we can make a return trip. Believe me, you will not be disappointed with the Princess Anne. I forgot to mention the happy hour in the afternoon offering wine and charcuterie.
