We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Patti and Bear were gracious and friendly, catering easily to our food allergies, making dinner reservation ns, and giving us tips on places to visit based on our desires. We stayed in the Chestnut Suite on the upper floor, which looks out directly into the treetops as the ground falls away... More

When the trip was being planned, there was no doubt in our minds where we were going to stay...even though the other 3 couples stayed in Hotels. We knew it was with Bear and Patti or nowhere! Great location, ambiance is second to none and the breakfasts are absolutely to die for. No place better to stay in Asheville! Check... More

As soon as my friend and I stepped out of the car it was an instantaneous air of calm. We were greeted immediately by Patti and Bear and shown the property. What a lovely place. Our rooms were spacious and each decorated perfectly. My friend and I hadn't seen each other in 20 years, and this location was perfect for... More

My mom and I had an absolutely delightful time at the Crooked Mountain Inn. The inn is so cozy and a true retreat in the mountains. Patti and Bear are truly gifted in what they do and go out of their way to make their guests so welcomed and right at home. We felt like a part of the family!... More

Patti and Bear have a wonderful retreat in the woods, yet moments from downtown Asheville. We stayed for two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The Inn is up a winding road that evolves into a dirt road taking you into the woods. There is a sitting area outside and several trails on the property. Inside there is... More

My husband and I visited Asheville in June and had the pleasure of staying four nights at the Crooked Oak Mountain Inn. We chose the Chestnut Suite and were absolutely delighted with our accommodations. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable king bed, a spa tub, and a private balcony overlooking the mountains. Patti and Bear were warm... More

My husband and I stayed at the Crooked Oak Mountain in over the 4th of July weekend. We drove up from Atlanta on Saturday and when we pulled in were immediately greeted by Patti and Bear. They gave us a tour of the place and showed us to our room (Sage). First let me say this place is a bit... More

Definitely need to stay here! After spending a week looking at reviews and researching online of which B&B to stay at in Asheville we chose to stay here. So glad we did! Southern hospitality at its finest! Patti and bear made you feel like family! Patti even did our laundry for us from hiking at the falls. The breakfast was... More

Seriously, I was speechless. Our getaway began the moment we stepped out of the car and were warmly welcomed by our hosts. The mountain is serene and the Inn is so charming; we felt the stress of a long drive slip away. Patti and Bear have aced "B&B" - the Bed was so comfy with music at bedside and the... More

We were booked into a lovely room with a King bed but bath across the hall...not a problem at all for us. When we arrived mid-week, we happened to get a "slow night" so Bear and Patti, the ultimate hosts, upgraded us to an even nicer room with a private bath and balcony at no additional charge! Can't argue with... More
