My fiance and I chose the Biltmore Village Inn to celebrate my 30th birthday and what would have been our honeymoon. This place is perfection, from the views to the breakfast. Every breakfast was a 2 course meal, first course sweet and the second savory. I almost never finished all of my food. They do not hold back on the portions! Every meal was absolutely amazing, the chef even shared some recipes with me. Monica, the manager, is super cool, so friendly, and even gave us extra cookies. Once you eat one, you'll understand. She helped my fiance set up surprise flowers and balloons for my birthday. Which ended up being such a sweet surprise! She also had great recommendations for things to do and where to eat. The bnb itself was super clean. I'm a bit of a germ-a-phob in general and I'm really weird about where I sleep. We will be returning! This home was 100% spotless. The beds were comfortable, we both felt well rested every morning. Our room (Reed Room) had a huge jacuzzi tub and a private porch. I was genuinely amazed at the detail the staff put in. One day we bought a bottle of wine and were drinking it from the water glasses provided in the room. The next day after the cleaning staff came to tidy up they set our wine to the side with actual wine glasses. Things like this happened daily. The attention to detail was amazing. Every day we had fresh towels and a refill on anything we used. We even noticed they wiped down the outdoor patio furniture for us daily. Like I said, we will definitely be back. And we will choose our room again. The private patio with views of the Blue Ridge was the perfect relaxing vibe we wanted. Thank you for having us Biltmore Village Inn!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in June. It was such a wonderful experience! The room and views were beautiful! We loved all the history and that the home remains true to the style. The staff made every effort to make our stay perfect. We recently began eating vegan. They were so willing and able to make adjustments to our food which was phenomenal! It tasted and looked so good, we even double checked to make sure it really was vegan. The B&B was expertly cleaned especially important during the pandemic. The staff was always friendly. I give it my highest recommendation! We truly hope to return again. Thank you!

We just returned from a 4 nights stay at this B&B. We were delighted with our room (the Reed Room). Two gas fireplaces that worked very well as it was in the low 30’s in the mornings/night and kept us warm especially coming from Florida where temps were in the 80’s when we left. There was one in the bedroom & one in the very large bathroom. A nice size glass enclosed shower with a 2 person hot tub which also worked very well and was clean with no sediment exuding from the jets like we experienced at a previous B&B on the Select Registry no less.
Room was tastefully decorated. I especially loved the framed artwork in our room. Also I was mesmerized by the lighted Christmas tree on the coffee table - so much so I kept it on all night the first night!!! I ended up finding one in silver just like it and bought 2 of them at the antlers winery shoppes. Also loved the spacious lighted closet with plenty of room for our luggage as well as our clothes.

Breakfast was enough for breakfast and lunch so we only bought dinners each day. They were tasty however they were not as warm or hot as I would have liked but that was the only critique. Their chocolate pecan cookies daily were phenomenal!!! Glad I was in the room across from the dining room to get one whenever I wanted!!! Their blueberry lemon muffins were also delicious. Yogurt and drinks were always available in the pantry.

The staff is very accommodating; rooms very clean.
We also had access to a private porch with a loveseat, table & chairs to breathe in the cold crisp mountain air and view the Blue Ridge mountains.

We were surprised how close we were to the Biltmore estate which was a nice surprise.

I also loved the music being played throughout the first floor area. It was so relaxing and serene.

I highly recommend this place when you are visiting the Biltmore estate.

From check in being so easy to enjoying the beautiful house and grounds not to mention the house host and chef it was a wonderful Valentines day treat. Our room was meticulous, cozy and having a fireplace burning when we arrived was so inviting. They paid close attention to detail in every room and I felt like I was in my own home. Breakfast was amazing and Chef Ted is truly passionate about the food he prepares and presents to you. The hostess Mathilda is so welcoming and truly met our every need with a smile and much attentiveness.

Have to start out - the best don’t look further! Book a room here! So glad I choose this Inn for my husband’s birthday. The room we had was across the hall from the dining room. Perfect to get coffee in the morning and a bite. Our room was large with a fireplace working double sided. We were in the Reed Room, lovely! We also had our own private porch access from the bathroom. Sounds strange but works. Breakfast everyday was awesome! Chef Ted will come out and describe the dishes. We didn’t eat lunch as we were still full from breakfast. Coming home coffee tea and cookies, snacks are available. Also a social hour is available in which we never made as we were out and about. Also a local treat is placed on the bed every day on a plate/ under glass. When we travel we do B&Bs we like to meet people and see where they are from and get information on what they did locally for the day, good insight of the area! By far this is the best Bed & Breakfast we have ever been in! We will return as quite a few people have that we met at this inn - one couple it was their 5th time returning there so you know they are all That Great!

We just got married at the Biltmore and I cannot express how beautiful and perfect it was. Monica and Mathilda were incredibly helpful and accommodating from day 1, always timely and efficient communicators, well organized, and helped guide us to the most amazing day. Once we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful grounds and rooms here. My family rented several rooms in the Inn and we were like little kids when we arrived, running from room to room and in awe of how spacious, ornate, and gorgeous each room was, and each with their own big tubs for relaxing baths after our long hikes. We stayed in the Deluxe Cottage, which is a 30 second walk from the house and a more private arrangement with a big tub AND and outdoor jacuzzi! Not to mention the breakfasts, Tom the chef is a brilliant brilliant man. Each day was something new and delicious. And then the actual wedding day, it blew away all my expectations because it was well organized without feeling rushed or too structured, the entire staff was up-beat and happy to help, and every single vendor (photography, hair/makeup, officiant, cake maker, florist) were of the same incredibly high quality as the Biltmore Village Inn. It was simply spectacular. We got married under the pergola overlooking the mountains and then sat on their comfy chairs to watch the sunset on our last night. I have nothing but happy memories of my week there and I thank the Biltmore for that! Literally everyone there, Monica, Mathilda, Sarah, Ted, and everyone I missed, thank you for making my special day so special! I can't wait to return!

The home is beautifully furnished and maintained. There are spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Mathilda was an exceptional hostess making us feel welcome and well cared for. The breakfasts that we were served were always varied and amazing, a wonderful combination of sights, smells and tastes that would please any pallet. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The location is ideally situated within walking distance of Biltmore village and easy driving to Biltmore estate and downtown Asheville. We would recommend the Biltmore Village Inn B&B to anyone who enjoys this form of accommodation.

Lovingly restored to its former grandeur, the Reed Estate is now a magnificent bed and breakfast with a small number of spacious suites and en-suite baths with cozy fireplaces that we lit each evening. Beautifully furnished with period antiques, comfortable bedding and chairs. The artwork is also stunning. We stayed in the Wingate suite. Guests can relax under an enchanting gazebo to enjoy superb views or the lush gardens and fountain. The flowers were spectacular. In the spring breakfast is served in one of the gracious living areas with tables spread nicely apart or on the wrap around porch of this beautiful mansion where we enjoyed a glass of wine the night before. Matilda and Monica took care of our every need with freshly baked cookies, coffee and drinks and even arranged for a cheese tray and bottle of wine upon our arrival (we ordered it on the website). The chef had a variety of 2 course breakfasts for our three mornings including a cream brûlée French toast and banana pancakes topped with bananas foster. Incredible and imaginative. It’s an easy walk into the village for shopping or restaurants but so peaceful to return. They also offer a discount to visit Biltmore House nearby. This place is a real find and an Asheville treasure. Be sure to read the history of the house and property while you are there. The Vanderbilts bought the land for the Biltmore Estate from the Reed family. The Reed House is exquisite.

Wow. This is a special spot. Located in a modest neighborhood atop a hill, very close to the entrance of the Biltmore Estate, this quiet and beautiful B&B made our visit to Asheville very special. It is immaculate, exquisitely decorated, and attention has been given to the smallest details. The dining area is stocked 24/7 with coffee, drinks, and delicious cookies. muffins, scones, and fruit. We had the pleasure of staying in the Reed Room, which is on the floor level in the main house and features a fireplace in the bedroom area as well as in the large bathroom. The bathroom has a two-person sized jacuzzi tub and private access to the back porch where one can enjoy the sound of the burbling fountain and the serene forest views. The bed and linens were comfortable and the room was very quiet. And the breakfasts! Plan to skip lunch. Sumptuous and delicious. We are so happy we stayed here instead of in a "regular hotel," as it will make for special memories.

We took a post Christmas trip with our adult children to Asheville and booked two rooms in the main house. One room had a fireplace and sitting area the other had a living room and sitting area. Really spacious rooms, extremely well maintained, soft sheets and thick towels. Super clean. Breakfast is way more than expected (quality of food, interesting preparations, delicious), fresh scones and baked goods daily. Very convenient to both Biltmore Estate and Downtown and Arts district. We will not consider going any other place in Asheville. Easily the best !

I don't know if they allow children in the main house but they might in the cottages. They are really responsive on Facebook. I'm sure that if you messaged them or called and asked they would be super helpful. If they don't allow kids they may suggest a b&b that would be more appropriate.

Hi Paul, Asheville weather in December can vary from highs in the 40-50's to lows in the 20-30's. Bring layers! Look forward to meeting you next month and helping you celebrate your 50th!

Do any of the rooms have more than one bed?

Our Carolina Cottage is the only room with two beds, one king, and one double. It can accommodate two adults. Thanks for the question! Kindly, Eleanor and Monica

What is the parking like?

Hi Robert! We have our own gravel parking lot on the property, which has enough spaced to accommodate one car per room.

The other responses are correct. We are about 1/4 mile from Biltmore Village, and it is indeed about a 5-10 minute walk. As we are up on a hill, there is a bit of an incline on the way back up, but it is very doable. There are not sidewalks, but it is a quiet residential street, without much traffic. We are about 2 miles from downtown Asheville, so it is a much more adventurous trek to hike downtown. We usually recommend guests drive. Hope this helps!
