Beaucatcher was as advertised. Good location by the Tunnel. Easy access to downtown. Reasonably priced. Clean. Comfortable. Quiet. Courtyard outdoor seating area. Breakfast of bagels, yogurt, cheese, coffee, tea. Great front desk staff at check-in and in the morning; pleasant & friendly. Plenty of towels. Comfortable bedding. No issue with our stay.

Overall the place is very dated and dingy but you get what you pay for. Stayed for 2 nights, bed moderately comfortable. Issues were that we had no working TV. Informed person at desk within first hour and said he would get it straightened out. Never saw him again. Spoke to lady at front desk about TV on second day, when we had to ask for another roll of toilet paper. Never got a working TV, but did get a roll of TP.

This motel is affordable, clean, and cute as a bug...but happily we didn't encounter any bugs during our stay. It is close to Ingles and restaurants. Greg was there morning and night--he is amazing and made our stay breezy with any questions or blanket needs. If you are looking for a low-key family motel, look no further!

Everything, very outdated Hotel...we did not see any features on the "Boutique Motel"....there were hairs in the shower , a dead roach behind the windows curtain. Very disappointed, the worst...the room was not nice at all , there were hoses laying on the floor in one of the halls of the Motel....they were dangerous for clients, someone could run into them and fall ! Someone told me that had a new administration, obviously nothing have changed I believe.....there was a sign that they were hiring....I think that they have to close that place down and rebuilt a new one...HORRIBLE....

First the good - comfortable bed, convenient location. Mostly friendly staff. The not so good - the fridge still had food from (hopefully) the prior guest. The walls are very thin, so you know what your neighbor is watching on t.v. The coffee is good, but the rest of the breakfast is fair (although I did like that they had Chobani yogurt!). One of the women who works there (not sure if she's a manager?) was pretty unfriendly, although the men we encountered behind the desk were very welcoming.

Terrible service!! We paid for 3 nights but had to check out after the first night. We were assured a refund for the remaining 2 nights will be processed within a couple of days. It has been almost a month, but no refund was received, no reply to our queries, we were completely ignored. Very disappointing!!

Pro's: it's a quirky, simple hotel experience with so much potential. Good location. Con's: I think they renovated a few years ago and haven't touched it since. For example, the bath tub in my room had chipped porcelain throughout the floor, which could be a cut foot hazard. For the money, it was definitely over-priced!

We stayed here 4 nights and found the Beaucatcher to be clean & quiet w ample hot water. We were able to walk into town to explore Ashby. The staff great, Greg the GM, Renee our house keeper and 2 other women (sorry I didn’t get their names) were all wonderful.

Great access to Asheville, a 30 minute walk or $8 Uber. Room was quiet and clean, staff very helpful and breakfast plentiful. Would recommend this as a place to stay, like we did for a short stay in Asheville. Parking outside the room was really handy

Just spent two nights here - paid 200 bucks total for a king sized bed & a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. Was a quick drive to both downtown and the Blue Ridge Parkway, walking distance to many major chain restaurants. Room was clean, staff was friendly, and the location fantastic. Very, very satisfied with my stay!
