Great location. 5 min. Uber to downtown. Hotel was partly under construction but will be nice when done. Great party porch where a pool used to be. Every upstairs room has a balcony. The folks who worked there were great! I would definitely stay here again…..and again.

Where to start. An additional building across from our room is either being gutted or rebuilt from a fir. Either way way it looks very sketchy. The room door opens directly into the sink portion of the bathroom. As there is no mat inside or out, upon our damp evening arrival, that meant nasty tracks throughout the "bathroom". The miniscule room for the tub and toilet hah needed work ar some point. A horrendous caulking job had been done where the tub met both the wall and floor. The floor was not throughly clean. Unfortunately, they were fully booked and already had our money for two nights. When we returned the next evening, the room has not been touched. Tha response to a call to the front desk got the response that rooms are ONLY CLEANED if you ask for that at check-in; we should have been told. Obviously, we we weren't. We did get "clean" towels. One of them has a dead bug in it. I'm repeatedly bathing to try to feel clean. If I could only rate a zero. Please do yourself a favor and given the option, just sleep in your car!

The photos and description of this hotel made it look and sound appealing. However, once we got into the room, quite disappointed in it as a whole. The room had had a"facelift," newer counter/sink (however the sink was cracked). New carpet in the sleep area, and nice bedding. But the plaster was peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom, the sink and tub drained slowly (we complained about this and maintenance was sent up to rectify the problem), the door to the bathroom was difficult to open/close, no coffee maker, no bath mat, broken light fixture on desk. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating when we asked for clean towels and toilet tissue. Definitely not worth the money we paid for this hotel. Location was convenient, near top of Tunnel Road .

Room Tip: Enough parking available. Don't expect a "boutique" hotel, even though this is how they are...

Great alternative to the big chain hotels! Price was fantastic! Close to downtown and walking distance to several restaurants and a grocery store. The bathroom could use a little tlc. Only bad thing is no elevator so had to struggle with big bags on the stairs.

Due to Covid, our stay was not as nice as it could have been. The day before we were to arrive we received an email stating that there would be no housekeeping and that if we needed fresh linens we should put them outside our door. New linens never arrived because the housekeeper became ill. Fortunately I had brought my own towels etc from home because I was somewhat wary. The continental breakfast consisted of coffee, orange juice, yogurt, mini muffins, bagels but did not include any fruit. There is an outdoor common lounging area where we wanted to sit and have coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening, but the chairs were turned upside down on the couch. The front end desk people were polite (and apologetic about the linens) and I know this is a difficult time for them. There is a Holiday Int Express right behind them, and a new hotel is being built across the street, so The best thing going for them right now is the price. It appeared that there were many people staying at the small hotel. The room had been "updated" so they painted over the mold in the bathroom and painted worn areas. The bathroom ceiling was cracked and peeling. The ironing board cover was disgusting and stained. The TV was small but had a large selection of cable channels. The king size bed was comfortable but "bouncy." Overall, it was a fairly decent stay for the money, but had some issues.
