What this place is, is a friendly laid back campground it's not one of the other luxury places that you pay up the wazoo for. It was also not incredibly crowded and crazy busy, both days we swam in a clean uncrowded pool. I did not use the showers because my trailer has a perfectly fine shower, but I did... More

Getting around inside the park was to say the least very crazy. Not a fan of that part. Very open nice little pool. Its a ok park. No real good views. Kinda dangerous getting out of dont stay on the lower area below pool the exit is dangerous! Lots are NOT very level either. Had front tires completely off the... More

NIce folks and very close to the sights in Asheville. However, the slots are packed in like sardines. My neighbor's hookups were under my awning and the opposite neighbor's pic-nick table was within 10 feet of my bedroom window. Come here to sleep and see the local area, not to hang out and enjoy camping. The bathroom closest to us... More

Lots of trees. Still got several TV stations by antennae. No satelitte. Very little space for a tow vehicle and everyone's vehicle. Near large fruit market and terrific "Moose Café". Tight squeeze for motorcoaches. All are back-in. Discount tickets to Biltmore Estate in office

Extra clean bathrooms. Laundry. Sparkly pool . Rocking chairs and community center day room. Only seven minute drive to Biltmore estate which is why we stopped here. ( the mansion in spring is bedazzling with its spring time blooming flowers!) Glenda, at camp desk, was extra pleasant and accommodating even extending my second day by phone from the estate ,so... Site was level, host was friendly, but... Restrooms were old and run down. Washers were very old, and dryers did not work properly. Internet was slow, (but most RV parks are). Site was very close to the Biltmore.

I don't understand why Good Sam would give this campground such a good rating? Yes, it's convenient to Asheville, but the sound of the traffic on the interstate from your site is very loud. Broken concrete pads, and sites that are crammed right next to each other are not very enjoyable. The management was very nice when we checked in,... More

This is more of a bunch of very narrow parking spaces to keep your RV while you do up Asheville. Not much to it. Our pad was broken, raised (dangerous) concrete. There are no lights, so it could be hard to see at night. The sites are so narrow that our slide out practically touched the picnic table at the... More

My husband and I lived in Asheville for six years, less than a half mile from this RV park. We're just 20 miles south in Hendersonville now, but when we un-winterized our unit a couple of weeks ago, we booked a spot here to check out our systems and visit some old friends. Our unit is only 25 feet so... More

Campground with a heart. We were mixed up on our reservation and had the wrong park. They took us in, calmed our stress and we enjoyed the night there. Staff is extremely nice, grounds clean, bathroom was very clean. We were last one in so we had a small lot but with a reservation there were many nice ones. Road... More
