So I went on a solo trip to the Biltmore Estate as I wanted to see the Downton Abbey exhibit. I chose to stay at the Inn on Biltmore as a mini getaway for myself and it was well worth it. The hotel is beautiful, the staff was wonderful, the food excellent and the views were stunning! I was able to walk the grounds and soak it in. My room also had a view looking out to Antler Village and was very clean. I was able to enjoy reading a book by pool, which was nice and relaxing. The hot tub did not have all the jets working but was a perfect temperature and the staff kept the towels by the pool stocked. Again, the view was amazing. My most favorite part though was the food. I had a chocolate cheesecake mousse type dessert with several items for dipping in the Library Lounge then later had the burger and a brushetta like appetizer from room service. This burger was the absolute best burger I have ever tasted. For once when you ask for medium... It actually came medium. I am not being paid to post this surprisingly, just very happy with the Inn!

Hotel's Favorite
We were celebrating an extended anniversary and booked the Inn for something special. We were not disappointed. Very quiet (no doors, sounds of footsteps, voices in the halls, etc.). The staff could not have been more helpful, polite, friendly, or positive. All spoke highly of being employed by “the family” and their pride in the Estate.

The hotel was listed as a four star property. At check in we were given bottles of hand sanitizer and were taken to our room. The room had a king sized bed, a desk, a chair and ottoman, a wall mounted flat screen tv, a coffee maker, and a safe in the closet. I was surprised that there was no small refrigerator in the room and turn down service only if requested. The bath had a small shower, a single sink, and robes and slippers. There was no exhaust fan or heater in the room and since it was a relatively new build, I would have thought that these would have been installed. Due to Covid, the fitness center was closed. There was an outdoor pool but the weather did not cooperate. I did not see any horses and onLy saw signs for bicycle crossings but no bikes. The restaurant’s food was not up to par. The cake we ordered for a celebration was dry and the icing was thick and had no flavor. We ended up throwing the beautifully decorated cake away. The staff throughout the property wore masks and were friendly. Cocktails out on the veranda was very pleasant. There were a few shops in the hotel. A piece of chocolate at the gift shop was $3.00.

Hubby and I stayed at The Inn for the evening of our anniversary. From the moment that we pulled up, it was pure luxury! Check-in was a breeze and very informative regarding our house tour the next day. The view from our window was spectacular, we were glad that we spent the extra money for the mountainview king room. We sat out on the veranda with drinks to watch the sunset, but the treeline blocks the prettiest part of it. If we would have had the time, a walk down the path and you could see it. We wanted to have dinner in the restaurant, but no staff member EVER returned our voicemails. We left 3 separate messages, so we ended up scrambling hours before to find a place to eat. We ended up going off property. That was the whole reason for booking our stay there...so we wouldn't have to leave. Even if they had called back and said "we are completely booked and cannot accommodate you this evening" would have been better than NO RESPONSE. Not the fault of the hotel as they are two separate divisions, but the overall experience was not how we expected to be treated.

Nicely appointed room. Excellent service and grounds. Rooms with view of mountains are pricey, but worth it for my mother to sit by the window and see how both dawn and dusk change the look of the mountains For the cost of the room you do get to explore all the grounds with the exception of the house tour
