Stayed here in August, 2016 for 3 nights while my wife attended a conference. Stayed in the Biltmore Room on the second floor. Plenty of room, comfortable bed, large whirlpool tub (note: no shower, however) and free wifi. Breakfast was excellent, the other guests were friendly and helpful, and while we didn't always take advantage of it, the afternoon wine... More

Hi John, Thanks so much for the nice review. I would like to point out, however that the two-person whirlpool tub has a shower. It's a European-style, hand-held shower, where one kneels or sits while using it. More

I've stayed at many B & B's and this is one of my favorites. Everything was done to accommodate our needs, including late arrival, and the personality and decor of the room was actually matched up to fit me and my 16 year old granddaughter! In the heart of an artsy neighborhood, the grounds are lovely, and the room decorated... More

My stay at Hill House was nothing short of perfection! Highlights: 1) after calling to say I'd be arriving in Asheville early because of my flight time, I was allowed an early check in 2) immaculate, cozy room 3) refreshing lemon or mint water, along with choice of teas, fruit, nuts and cookies available all day 4) spectacular wrap around... Beautiful converted house, super quiet and comfy bed. The breakfast was served on the porch and was excellent both mornings. Easy access to the bus to go into Downtown Asheville. couldn't ask for more.

This is a gorgeous, quiet retreat within quick walking or Uber distance of nearly everything in Asheville. Lovely staff, comfortable quarters, delicious breakfasts. Fabulous front porch for reading or enjoying the gardens. We will be back and we'll recommend it to friends. LGBTQ friendly too!

I review here quite often. I appreciate the reviews from others, so I contribute as often as possible. I sent my daughter and her boyfriend away to Asheville, NC. After looking at a lot of options, I chose this one because it looked great, the cost was good and the owner / or manager (I'm not sure) was responsive and... More

We arrived at Hill House with our small dog as agreed in our phone conversations. Staff was very friendly and polite and welcomed the dog enthusiastically. Evening came with wine and finger food provided. The small fridge in the kitchen was available for storing personal foods and was stocked with San Pellegrino sodas for guest consumption. A crock of excellent... More

Wonderful restored home. Quiet neighborhood but close to downtown Asheville. Great staff. The room was comfortable and quiet. We particularly enjoyed breakfast on the front porch and the wine and cheese in the evening.

My wife and I have had several stays at a variety of Asheville's wonderful B&Bs. The Hill House may have been the finest yet. An older building with lots of character and all the upto date amenities. The common areas, including the fantastic wrap around porch, are comfortable and inviting. The location is very covenient to downtown Asheville and the... More

We had a hard time finding a B&B that would allow children under 12 to stay, so once David told us we could have our 5 yr. old son stay with us, we booked 2 nights immediately! So happy we did! We stayed in the Pigsah apartment, which was very nice...we even cooked in one night in the kitchen! The... More
