Hotel is fine - not glamorous - older - but fine. Clean, etc. The gym is very good - much better than average. Towels in the room very good as well. Concierge lounge lacks vs. other hotels - they need bottled water, Perrier, and more robust product. The restaurant - well how does a nice restaurant in a hotel not...

The Renaissance Asheville is very convenient to downtown placing you within walking distance to a plethora of local shops and restaurants. Parking is free which is becoming more rare these days and the staff upon check-in was extremely pleasant and helpful. The property itself was clean and nice but dated as some have mentioned. They have a great patio to...

If you are looking to explore downtown Asheville, this Renaissance is a great home base. The rooms are very nice and updated, with nice views. The hotel itself is well-maintained. Self-parking makes it easy to get in and out. From the parking lot, you have easy and direct access to Walnut Street and the downtown area. We will certainly return...

Stayed one night on business trip. Room included king bed overlooking parking lot to the north. Room was clean but tv did not function. Bath was small. Asked for one hour extended check out but was turned down. Very convenient to downtown. Walkable to most destinations. Staff were professional and friendly. This is an older hotel, however it generally appear...

The hotel offers free parking and is a convenient location for walking throughout downtown Asheville. There is a colorful décor throughout, but the hotel is showing its age. Rooms have popcorn ceilings and very noisy window air conditioners. Bathrooms have granite countertops but very old, tired tile in the baths. There is a Club Lounge on the top floor serving...

Walking distance to downtown dinning, and shopping. Great staff, and room. Quick and easy to get in and out of the city from this location. Perfect location when in town for festivals or events. Parking is free which is nice.

Just spent a terrific wk-end in Asheville! The staff at the Renaissance couldn't have been nicer. Everyone seemed very happy that we were there! We had a king suite with a view over the city. The property is older than some other downtown hotels, but it did have almost an "old world" feeling. The breakfast buffet is well worth the...

The Renaissance Hotel is within walking distance of the downtown fun, It is also very comfortable, beautifully decorated, quiet. The short walk to activities was rewarded by a quiet atmosphere. The patio is very large, with lots of comfortable seating. Each night was a different rate.....I have never experienced that before, even at top notch hotels in Europe. Don't understand...

The hotel has a great location downtown. Room was OK...nothing special. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom a little cramped and dated. I had a high floor with decent views. Parking was free which is a plus, but hard to find a spot. Asheville is very pricey in general especially on weekends. Don't think the value was there.
