Enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Hotel underwent a renovation last year. Nice, clean property. Staff was very pleasant & helpful. Plenty of parking (front & back of hotel). Nice outdoor patio. Conveniently located to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for two nights to take in downtown Asheville after a bike trip through the Smokies. The location is great, within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. The staff were great; very friendly and helpful. The dinning room provided a well stocked breakfast each morning also with a great staff. Room was clean, well decorated, and everything worked. Will stay there again.

We have stayed at the Renaissance Asheville Hotel for years. It is the perfect location in Asheville, as you can walk to all of downtown, but you are not in the middle of anything hectic. The free parking is much appreciated. The rooms are very nice and the beds are comfortable. We enjoy the high floor rooms with a view. The restaurant staff is very nice and the front desk staff is very helpful. We were there for the July 4th fireworks and we could not have asked for a better location. We look forward to returning in October and December.

The staff at the front desk was kind and courteous. The hotel was very modernized inside. My room was clean. Housekeeping replaced my empty tissue box with one that was almost empty. When I talked to the lady at the front desk about it, she apologized and offered me a free breakfast. I saw more dogs staying there than I ever have. One dog was barking on my floor in the afternoon. Another guest was feeding her dog chicken wings in the lobby.

This is a bit of a strange review to write. The hotel had a friendly staff, the rooms were what I have come to expect from Marriott, and the location is right in downtown Asheville. The only drawback was really the hot mess of a parking lot. Either the lot was made way too small, or too many outsiders are parking there. Cars were parked everywhere. The disconnect to me is that it was just weird to see this property called a Renaissance. I guess I just associated the Renaissance brand with historic properties or 4 star resorts.
