This was a good choice. We needed to be close to the hospital, which is a half mile up the road. The staff, especially Maggie, at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable. We had a two bedroom suite and the price was less than getting two rooms elsewhere. So far we’re very happy here. Staying for five nights.
We stayed here for 2 nights. Check-in was easy, we had a choice of which floor we wanted to stay on, and received a comfortable room. During our stay, we found the front desk staff to be friendly, the breakfast was pretty good, and the hotel is located in a very good location for the Biltmore Estate and downtown. The bathroom could use an update but everything still works fine. I would come back to this hotel if I were ever again in Asheville.
Very comfortable with hot breakfast, indoor pool, and very friendly staff. This was a last minute reservation when our plans changed in Asheville. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff and breakfast cook - we shared a "likkle bit" of Jamaican Patwa and Spanish with lots of smiles.
Spent three comfortable nights here. Staff was genuinely friendly and very helpful when we asked for restaurant suggestions. Walking distance to Biltmore Village and close to many things to do. Could use some upgrades but we were very comfortable and everything was very clean.
We were looking for a new hotel in Asheville NC and after doing our homework online called a few hotels. We could have called more with our questions but got super lucky when Ali answered the phone. Ali was professional, has a great sense of humor and quick wit. We ended up staying 12 nights. We knew we wanted to go back and called but the phone kept ringing. Figuring that the desk clerk was busy helping other guests we hung up. About 5 minutes later we received a phone call saying " I say that you had called but I was on the other line with a guest"!! Really? Yep, Ali called us back to ask "are you coming back". Yes, free parking, complimentary breakfast, clean comfortable rooms and suites with a great location, with reasonable pricing but the real draw is the wonderful staff. Thank you Ali. We're on our way back.…
My overall feeling about this hotel is that they did some renovating/updating but stopped short of a full redo. The hotel is well located, reasonably quiet (AC was a bit noisy), and clean, but some of the furnishings and bathroom fixtures really need updating. On the plus side: Parking was easy, and free. Wifi was free and more than adequate. The full kitchen is a nice fixture, especially if you are considering a long stay, and the free breakfast buffet was really quite good. Thanks to Pepe who was always attentive and helpful with anything that you needed. And everyone at the front desk was very polite.
Found this location didn’t live up to our expectations and based on the experience we’ve had at other nationwide Residence Inns this one needed quite a bit of updating. We reserved for 3 nights but checked out at first light the next day. Sorry that the facilities were just a bit lacking.
Older hotel, but in decent shape. Pool and spa were operational. Water was in good shape. We got a king suite which was a lot of space - ADA walk-in shower, whirl pool tub. Large TV and comfy bed. The electrical outlets were not very plentiful and in awkward places. The microwave could not be plugged in if the fridge was plugged in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was ok. Cold pre made breakfast sandwiches and spinach quiche were the choices every day for our 3 day stay. With only 1 microwave available, there was usually a line. Snacks were available in the lobby each day.
Good location for the hotel if you are looking to go to Biltmore or the village. You can walk there but be aware there is a lot of traffic on the road and the sidewalk and cross walks are not the best. Hotel itself is a bit older of a Residence Inn but like all of them is still pretty nice.
Booked a two-bedroom suite for a 4-night stay. Perfect amount of room for 3 travelers and loved the addition of having a fireplace! Michelle at check-in helped us find pizza before everything closed as we arrived before midnight, and Rebecca had us to our room quickly with a seamless check in. Breakfast service was plentiful with fresh coffee and tea as early as 5am. Clean room, wouldn't hesitate to stay again!!
