People here were great and are doing their best but the hotel is worn out. It isn't clean in the public areas. Paint was chipped everywhere. The breakfast area was sad. It's a pretty good location but It needs major capital investment.

We understand the concern the guest has expressed here. We are in the process of a major capital investment. For example, recently we built a new elevator tower at the cost of $500,000. During 2016 we replaced the window PTAC units with mini splits units in all rooms and ground floor at a cost of $450,000. The philosophy behind such...

The good: Room is clean, comfortable and feels safe. The location and price cannot be beat! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The offputting: The lobby is entered through an underground parking lot. It is a little shabby, and at times there may be what appears to be homeless people hanging out in the lobby for a short time (homelessness...

We have no record of this guest staying with us. Even if the guest stayed with us this review is not even close to the condition of our hotel and we will not try to respond and give it any kind of merit. If the guest stayed with us then obviously he/she might have been annoyed as they were required...

My daughter (20yr/old) and I were taking a mountain getaway vacation. We had made no plans except visiting Biltmore. We decided to stay here when we arrived in Asheville after a full day of driving and just wanted showers, food and relaxation. We LOVE this place! Big, comfy beds. Free WiFi. Good coffee and a great selection at breakfast. Friendly...

Decided to go for a quick one night getaway. I've passed this Inn several times before while in Asheville and on the outside it doesn't look like very much. Reservations were simple and we didn't have any issues with booking a room. The location is fantastic if you want stay in downtown Asheville and do not plan to drive anywhere....

We have always stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn on Biltmore Ave until we found this "gem" a few years ago. For us, it's all about location value and comfort and this hotel delivers! The Downtown Inn and Suites is our only choice when we visit Asheville. Will be returning in January.

Yes, the hotel is old, but the rooms are very clean, lots of hot water, comfortable bed. Quiet room on 3rd floor facing mountains - what more can you ask for - oh yeah, complimentary pely arking (although very tight to park - it is free), complimentary breakfast which was good, Great customer service at front desk and maintenance. We...

First, great location on Patton downtown. Have stayed here several times previously, 2-3 star accommodations. Clean but very dated. Do take small dogs which is a plus. Last time we stayed here a new policy left our name and address posted on the exterior room door at checkout which I protested and asked that they reconsider their policy as I...

Thank you for the review. The guest details from the express check out record that hangs on the guest room door have been removed. We would never flag anybody for making such constructive suggestion. This individual has stayed with us in the past. During his last stay there were several issues including intoxication, damage to the hotel property and disturbing...

The hotel was just OK. The card keys for the room failed to work on two days and I had to go back downstairs to the front desk which issued new card keys that worked! Also the toilet flapper valve needed replacing: the toilet failed to fill on three occasions. The breakfast was only so-so. Have they not heard of...
