We had an excellent one-night stay here and found absolutely everything to be up to our expectations. It can be difficult right now to maintain a well-run hotel during COVID but they've found a way here and the highlight was the staff. The front desk agent Maggie, the bar tender Jared, and the Valet Dorian were all so friendly and helpful, going out of their way to offer suggestions and advice for our time in Asheville and get us everything we needed during our stay. Props to Hotel Indigo for assembling such a top notch team of employees.
We found Hotel Indigo to be a great stay. Front desk staff was amazing, a special thank you to the highly personable Steven- your recommendations were excellent! The room had gorgeous views and the bed was extremely comfortable. As others mentioned, you can hear street noise so do bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise while you sleep. I do suggest cleaning staff pay more attention to the showers as there were many places with mold/mildew. The hotel was within walking distance to many restaurants and other establishments. I would absolutely stay here again.
This hotel has everything you need for your stay - gym, laundry, pool (heated), clean and beautiful rooms. Katelyn went out of her way to make my stay absolutely fantastic! If you're in Everett - look no further! This is your hotel!
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in March. We booked last minute and didn’t do a ton of research like we normally do. When we arrived we checked in and received our keys, and then headed out to lunch. Coming back we weren’t sure about parking. So I asked the valet guy. He told me we could self park if we wanted and he would open the gate. He was very friendly, but I wish it would’ve been explained better. Then next day after returning, we couldn’t get the gate to open. I went in and the front desk staff exclaimed “we don’t know to make your keys for the garage if you don’t tell us that you’re self parking!” very rudely. To be honest I’m not even sure WHY they have valet here. It’s extremely easy to park in the garage and take the elevator up. We chose not to use it as we were in a rental car. The next day upon checking out- we had realized that we were charged $40 for overnight parking. I realize after that it DOES say that on the valet sign- but why wasn’t I even told that. And what hotel charges it’s own guests to park overnight??? The rude front staff again exclaimed that we should have known. She then said “well, did you guys want an coffee?” And we said “sure that would be great” and then told us it was a good thing before she ran the charge. So this hotel charges overnight guests for parking and their own hotel, and they don’t even have complimentary coffee? Plus they have a water softener which make your skin itchy and the rooms are mediocre and worn down. I’m sure there are much better places to stay in AVL. AVIOD this one.…
I’m an IHG platinum member on points redemption and happy to receive a comp upgrade to doubles with view as we’re traveling with 2 kids and needed more space during a 2-night stay. The room was spacious and since we got a corner room, we got both city and Mountain View. Definitely a plus! The negative part was the valet parking. We chose not to utilize the service due to COVID and the valet attendant was very inconsiderate when we used the designated parking space to unload our luggage despite the sign says 10-min parking. We felt rushed! If you’re looking for accommodations that have flexibility to self-park during the pandemic, this property is not for you. The location is not even that great.
