My wife and I were there for the Yoga Festival again this year and again it was a 5 Star stay! Special acknowledgment and thanks to Abe, Susanna and Karime for their above and beyond customer service!!!!!
This is an excellent hotel. The room was large and well appointed. The bed was large and comfortable. Valet parking was efficient and affordable. Rates were reasonable for the time of year. What makes this hotel outstanding though is it’s staff. From our greeting and complementary champagne on arrival to our checkout and small pot of honey the staff were amazing. Two days After we left the hotel we realised we had left some hiking jackets in the wardrobe in our room. A phone call and some text messages was all it took for the staff to hunt for our jackets and ship them to us overnight at our next destination. I cannot recommend this hotel enough .
Spent 2 nights here. Staff was pretty friendly and accommodating. Complimentary champagne was given at check in and a nice jar of honey at check out. Room was clean and had a great view. Valet staff gave great recommendations on places to visit and eat. Overall an A+ experience.
Spent 2 weeks here, with my family, everything was perfect. Clean, spacious room with a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Friendly staff. The best location if you want to stay right in town.
State of the art hotel from top to bottom. The staff was one of the best that I have ever had in my entire life. Especially the woman at the front desk named Karime. She was polite, very professional and super friendly. She definitely made me feel welcome and with service like she provided I would make sure to return to this hotel again in the future without a doubt! Super comfy beds with an amazing view of the mountains that you will not find anywhere else.
We had a great time staying at The Cambria Hotel in Downtown Asheville. We had a room on the 12th floor w/ a view of the mountains. We were close to everything…great food, shopping, and art. Karime at the front desk took great care of us. Highly recommend!
I stay at the Cambria Hotel in Asheville every year as a presenter for the Love, Shine, Play Festival. I have to say this hotel staff gets better and better every single year!!! Andres and Bill went above and beyond to make sure I was assisted with all of my luggage and supplies I had brought to teach. The valet was “on the spot” with my car and super polite, even when things got busy and hectic. The rooms are always spotless and fully stocked with coffee, toiletries as well as a fridge and microwave. I always feel at home, and we’ll rested when I stay at The Cambria. (Not to mention it is right in the best location downtown) I look forward to returning next year, if not sooner.
Very poor service and a very expensive 3 star hotel. No water in the rooms, no room service, no luggage rack for bags and the list goes on and on. We arrived early and we wanted to check-in even though the room wasn't ready. They wanted $50 just to check us in early even though we weren't asking to get in the room early. We had to come back 3 hours later and wait in a long line to get checked in. I'd never stay here again. Check out the Kimpton.
What an amazing hotel. Service is so friendly - from the valet guys to the front desk staff. They made a big deal of our wedding anniversary, which was lovely. champagne at check in and a pot of honey at check out. Loved the room and the view. Breakfast at Hemingways was just ok, nothing special, but great service. Only one negative - as others have mentioned, the bathroom door is frosted glass, so if one of you puts the light on during the night, it wakes up your wife/hubby. Note to Cambria - maybe put a little night light in the bathroom, so we don't need the big light when it's dark?
My husband and I spent two nights at this lovely hotel in Asheville. Front desk was exceptional. Paula went out of her way to welcome us with genuine sincerity. We utilized the gym, fourth floor restaurant/deck and in and out of valet parking service. The valet crew was kind, personable, and helpful. The modern decor in the room along with massive windows for a lovely view was welcome. The compact layout of the room insured more space for relaxing and utilizing the space. The outdoor entrance of where the hotel is located was festive, due to a variety of restaurants, cafés, eateries, and shops. Strongly recommend .
