My husband and I stayed at the Pinecrest B&B for two nights and it was a delightful experience. Dan was a gracious host, who helped with ideas on what to visit and where to eat. His wife Diane, our breakfast cook, created scrumptious breakfast dishes both mornings we were there. They were filling enough we could skip lunch. Our room, the Garland & Eunice Wible room, and bathroom were so spacious and beautifully decorated. There were cookies to snack on in the afternoon which were a treat. Several restaurants were within walking distance. We walked to Tupelo Honey one night for dinner, and other than it being quite warm that day, it was a very doable walk from Pinecrest. Thanks, Dan & Diane, for a lovely stay! Diane & John
Our stay at Pinecrest B&B could not have been better. We spent 4 nights in the Cowley room and loved it--very comfortable bed and linens, large bathroom with walk-in shower, great views of the wooded, secluded back area, adequate electrical outlets (you can never have enough nowadays). The common areas are welcoming. The dining room and sunroom where delicious gourmet breakfasts are served each morning at 9 am are sunny and bright. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio sipping wine and listening to the birds in the evening. We also enjoyed strolling through the quaint, historic neighborhood with its eclectic mix of homes. Parking is on the street but quite ample. Dan and Diane, the innkeepers, are friendly, gracious, and super accommodating. They made our stay at Pinecrest special. We expect we will be visiting the Ashville area again in the future and when we do, we will be staying at Pinecrest.…
This was my third time staying at the Pinecrest B&B and it certainly won’t be my last. The rooms are charming, the breakfasts amazing, the homemade cookies a wonderful afternoon treat. In a word “perfect” ! Thank you Diane and Dan for a fabulous stay. My friends and I loved it.
This is the best B and B we have ever stayed in over many years. The owner's attention to every detail is impeccable and they are also just really nice, thoughtful people. Beautiful 1905 house in lovely neighborhood, walking distance to town, and the best breakfasts we have ever had. Food quality and prep were simply amazing. More like a high end restaurant as they try to accommodate your dietary restrictions, if you let them know prior to check in. Coffee, tea, and tasty cookies always available. Lovely sunporch and outdoor terrace for guests. Super comfy bed, sheets felt like 600 thread count. We had a lovely, lovely stay here and will definitely be back!
We did a spring hiking trip and wanted to compare our Thanksgiving accommodations to a different B&B. We picked Pinecrest and were not disappointed. We selected the Wible suite which was large and included a walk in shower. The gardens were magnificent and the breakfasts were to die for. You know you're in for a treat when your hostess is out clipping fresh herbs from her garden in the morning for that day's breakfast. A real plus was the special they offered to play the Grove Park Inn golf course. When we come back, we'll definitely want to visit here and see Dan and Diane again.
This was a beautiful little inn nestled in the historic Montfort neighborhood of Asheville. Our room was comfortable with an electric fireplace for coziness. The breakfasts were gourmet and special attention was given to my vegetarian needs. Yummy treats were set out during the day as well as a coffee tea bar and snacks. We loved sitting in the sun room. We also loved 9 Mile restaurant around the corner. We walked into town the next day. Easy walk.
As part of our Blue Ridge Parkway vacation we decided to stay at our first B&B in Asheville. Dan and Diane were terrific hosts and very accommodating. We stayed in the Grace suite and loved the fireplace and beautiful bathroom. Just wish the bathroom had a solid door instead of a louvered door. The cookies and breakfast were fantastic! We enjoyed the suggested self-guided walking tour of their historic neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I spent 3 nights at Pinecrest. Is was a great stay, very friendly and breakfast is delicious. Easy and pleasure walk to downtown Asheville. We love the neighborhood. Highly recommend Dan and Diane place.
My husband and I stayed for a couple of nights and it was the perfect spot for us! Dan and Diane were so welcoming, the room was clean and beautifully decorated, and the breakfast was delicious. Homemade cookies and the softest sheets I’ve ever slept on were just icing on the cake! We will be back to Pinecrest for sure!
Dan and Diane are very nice and hospitable. Our room was spacious yet cozy with an updated shower. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. Loved the view from the backyard and even got to see some wildlife. Would stay there again.
