Sweet Biscuit Inn is fabulous! Susan and John went above and beyond to make our stay there wonderful. The rooms were very comfortable and super clean. The extra touches like homemade cookies, glasses of wine and conversations in the evening were really nice. We even felt comfortable gathering in the dining room in the afternoons with the couples we had traveled with to just relax and socialize. It was such a welcoming place. The three course breakfasts each morning were delicious and way above our expectations. Amazing!!! Our last night there a family of bears stopped by in the front yard and we enjoyed watching them. Sweet Biscuit Inn is definitely the place to stay when visiting Asheville.
Our experience at Sweet Biscuit absolutely confirmed the positive reviews we read before choosing a place to stay in Asheville. We stayed in the oversized room 7. Susan and John are wonderful hosts and the 3 course breakfasts were spot-on in taste and appropriately sized to accommodate a full day out in the mountains or wherever you seek to go. The complimentary wine each evening was a nice touch and they didn't just put it all away after an hour or so of being served. I appreciate their taking care of my Celiac dietary issues with really tasty alternatives for breakfast and for afternoon snacks. This B & B is very close to the Biltmore property...We will highly recommend the Sweet Biscuit Inn!!!
Susan and John run a first class Bed and Breakfast. They open their home and you feel like family. We stayed for 3 nights (Sunday through Wednesday) and from the moment we arrived the hospitality begins. They offer wonderful Biltmore wines in the afternoon and each morning we indulged in creative and delicious breakfasts. We stayed in Room 6, which had a king bed and was very spacious. The room had fresh flowers and chocolates. The house has a beautiful front porch, although it was too cold to sit outside. The house is located close to the Biltmore. We will definitely stay at Sweet Biscuit Inn when we return to Asheville in the spring to tour the Biltmore house and gardens.
I messed up and booked a day short to our hosts hooked us up with Sweet Biscuit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Probably the best breakfast you will find in any BnB. Our hosts were amazing and engaging. Highly recommend.
What a lovely stay! John and Susan are wonderful hosts and their chef, Tyler made a phenomenal breakfast! I’ve always wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast and this being our first experience absolutely knocked it out of the park. Very close to downtown Asheville and Biltmore/Biltmore Village. We enjoyed some fresh cookies upon arrival as well as some Biltmore wine and they had a selection of craft beers also. John and Susan were wonderful communicators for all our needs, allowed us to check in early, checked on any dietary restrictions and were just incredibly welcoming. Our room was extremely clean, very comfortable bed and a spa-like shower!! We loved sipping our coffee on the front porch and watching all the morning birds fly around the front yard before breakfast. They even recommend the Sweet Biscuit Inn front porch as one of their favorite things to do in Asheville, I don’t disagree at all!!! It was an absolutely lovely calm morning! I honestly cannot recommend the Sweet Biscuit Inn enough! …
John and Susan's warm hospitality and attention to detail make the Sweet Biscuit Inn as close to a perfect bed and breakfast as you can possibly find. The setting was beautiful, the room was lovely, and the breakfast was fantastic. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we visit Asheville.
This was the first time my fiancé and I had stayed at a bed and breakfast and thanks for John and Susan it will not be our last! We were visiting Asheville for the very first time for our Babymoon and this was the perfect spot! Not only were they incredible, inviting hosts but the Inn itself was beautiful, charming and in a great location. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and super fresh! I would highly recommend the Sweet Biscuit Inn to anyone looking for the perfect B&B experience! Thanks John and Susan!
John and Susan were the perfect hosts in a perfect B&B. The house is sqeeky clean all the time, the rooms are well thought out with plenty or space and the bathrooms are very large, and clean with refreshes every day. The rooms are very quiet, elegant, and roomy as well with very comfy beds. The entryway to the room was very nice and made the room that much more welcoming. Breakfast is utterly awesome every day with original recipes, plenty to eat and beyond just tasty. We skipped lunch due to a large and tasty breakfast! They are awesome! Our hosts went out of their way to be helpful, friendly, and they certainly made our stay in Asheville that much better. We can't recommend Sweet Biscuit Inn higher. They exceeded our wants, needs, and expectations in every way. They will be our "go to" place in Asheville always! …
We had a lovely stay at Sweet Biscuit Inn. The innkeepers are friendly & the inn itself is not pretentious & in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. Our room was large, the bed comfortable with great soft sheets, & the bedspread really sweet in muted green & blue with birds. The bath was great with newer walk in shower. It was very clean. Each day the innkeepers would freshen up your room if you wished. There were plenty of books to dive if you wanted to relax with a book. Each afternoon/eve they had a happy hour with Biltmore wines & variety of beers. Our friend wondered if they had a wheat beer but they did not. Next day the innkeeper picked up some for him! That was so sweet. We had delicious, filling breakfasts each morning & they were very accommodating with diet restrictions.
What a find! Sweet Biscuit Inn was one of the best B&B’s we’ve stayed in. Susan and John were so welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were the perfect start to the day! A touch of sweetness, healthy and unique; while still being hearty. We stayed in Room 7–a delightful suite with plenty of space and privacy. You won’t go wrong when you stay here! We hope to return!
