Great house, amazing food, and the nicest hosts! Sweet Biscuit Inn was the perfect spot for our girls weekend. Susan greeted us with a glass of bubbles and fresh cookies while John built a fire in one of their guest-room fireplaces and brought our luggage to the rooms. The location was awesome—away from the downtown crowds and still minutes away from everywhere we wanted to go. After spending our days exploring Asheville (eating, drinking, and shopping our way through this great city) it was nice to come back to adjoining rooms with our own private sitting area for late night girl talk!

We had amazing breakfasts— bloody Mary deviled eggs, homemade sweet potato biscuits, spinach, tomato and goat cheese frittata, and the Greek yogurt with homemade lemon curd were on my list of favorites. The nice touches were everywhere—fresh flowers, chocolates, mini fridges stocked with water—the list goes on! I highly recommend Sweet Biscuit for your next get away!

I could tell you all about the B&B but what you read online is only half of it - I want to address how fabulous a stay we had during Covid- the owners went out of their way to make our visit comfortable and extremely safe. The porch is inviting. We ate several meals there Before you walk in the door they have provided hand sanitizer and masks! We had 2 rooms and we ate breakfast in the room! We had a table and chairs and breakfast was brought upstairs to us. Big shout out to making us feel welcome!! Thank you for everything !

What a gem! My husband and I stayed 3 nights at the Sweet Biscuit Inn; our hosts Christian and Claudia were warm, welcoming and full of recommendations for visitors to the area. The 3-course breakfast offered each morning was INSANELY good and often meant we were too full for lunch (not a problem at all!) The property itself is beautiful and has been lovingly maintained by the hosts; I loved our room (#5) and the bed was very comfortable. If you're staying in Asheville, this is a must stay!

Dear Kat J, thank you so much for celebrating your anniversary with us! We are grateful for your review, especially for probably being the last one, we, Claudia and Christian, as the owners of Sweet Biscuit, will answer. We have sold the Inn and we deeply enjoyed you and other wonderful guests those days! It was always so much fun to serve breakfast, a very important part of a stay at our house. We wanted to send you off with a healthy and good start to your Asheville experience. We will keep you all informed where our next B&B will be and hope you all have a good start into 2020. Thank you again for coming, we enjoyed you very much. All the best, Claudia and Christian

Sweet Biscuit Inn made a believer in B&B of me. Our three nights there were comfortable and enjoyable. The three-course breakfasts were unmatched. The pear/yogurt with granola is probably the best delicacy I have had in a long time. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the owners are most accommodating, the cookies and wine are a wonderful touch in the evening and the unending supply of coffee outside the rooms is a blessing for a coffee addict. But perhaps the best part of our visit was sitting on that beautiful porch in the evening to enjoy our glass of wine and the beautiful garden. I know I will return.

My husband I recently stayed at the Sweet Biscuit Inn for a long weekend in October. We had never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before, and WOW, our experience was amazing! The Inn itself is located in a very convenient location and was easy to find. Check-in was simple, and we made our way upstairs to Suite 7. Everything was spotlessly clean. The room was large, the bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in at a hotel, and the fancy shower head was very nice. Breakfast was an amazing treat every morning. Due to COVID, there are two separate breakfast seatings at 8:15 AM and 9:30 AM. We felt that everything was extremely clean and safe, and my goodness, the food was delicious. Cookies and wine were also available every afternoon in the lobby, and we enjoyed snacking and sharing a drink on the front porch with other guests. In terms of getting around Asheville, we had no issue finding Ubers/Lyfts to the downtown area. We hiked every day of our trip, and we were within an hour of many amazing trails, both in Asheville and the surrounding cities. Staying at the Sweet Biscuit Inn made our trip to Asheville one that we will fondly remember forever. We definitely will return!

My wife and I recently spent 3 nights at the Sweet Biscuit Inn Bed and Breakfast in Asheville. The owners/innkeepers are Susan and John. Communication with Susan before our visit was pleasant and, it turns out, necessary. When I told her that we were planning on seeing the Biltmore, she recommended that we get our tickets in advance online. We would not have been able to secure entrance had she not told me that. We had told Susan that we would be arriving late, and she told us how to let ourselves in and find our room. There were even cookie set out for us. We were in room 5 which had a private bath and a very soft bed. We didn't use the TV, but the air conditioning and wifi both worked fine. Breakfast is one of the best things about the SBI. Every morning Susan and John treated the guests to what can only be described as creative and gourmet. The Inn is located in a quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed using the front porch for morning coffee and afternoon refreshments. We highly recommend the Sweet Biscuit Inn and will stay there on a future visit to Asheville.

From the moment we arrived (literally, we were greeted by John and Susan as we parked our car) until the minute we left, we were treated to the most hospitable, helpful, and welcoming service you can imagine. Our accommodations in Suite #3 were very comfortable, clean and secluded, providing us with a unique sense of privacy. It is not possible to adequately celebrate how wonderfully delicious the breakfasts were. And the butterscotch and pecan cookies were a special treat as we returned to the B&B from our excursions around town. If you are planning a visit to Asheville, do yourself a favor and book at the Sweet Biscuit Inn. You can thank me for the rec later. To John and Susan, thanks for making our visit to your great city one that we will always remember fondly. Davis and Carol

Sweet Biscuit was absolutely amazing! The hosts were so kind and welcoming. Our stay started with a quick tour of the house and a glass of wine from Biltmore. Our room was spacious and we had control of the temperature, which was nice. My fiancé and I booked the romance package and we’re given a complimentary box of chocolates and a bottle of bubbly, both fantastic! The bathroom was spotless and the the water was piping hot with generous pressure.

The breakfast was phenomenal each morning of our 3 night stay. It’s 3 courses that really fill you up and prep you for a day of exploring Asheville! From chorizo frittata, to pumpkin cheesecake, to homemade granola, every bite was perfect.

Location-wise, this place feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Asheville, but is still within walking distance of Biltmore Village and just a 10-15 minute drive away from downtown and several hiking trails.

We will definitely be back!

We have stayed in this marvelous place on April 28th, which happened to be my birthday. Susan and John, receiving a call from our daughter, went out of their way to shop and obtain various gifts for my birthday. Our children only covered the cost of the items, not Susan and John time.

A personalized sign was hanged on the room's door and cards were created, again by Susan and John.

They upgraded our room, which was fantastic. They treated us like royalty and the breakfast, the same breakfast to all guests, not only "royalty", was out of this world.

Highly recommended.

I would totally recommend this beautiful B&B to anyone visiting the Asheville area. The Sweet Biscuit Inn is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood not far from downtown Asheville.
We were greeted upon arrival with fresh baked cookies and tall glasses of bubbly. What a way to start our weekend! Thank you Susan......
The rooms were comfortable and so clean. Our rooms were located downstairs and we felt like we had our own little wing to ourselves. Even though the inn was full I never heard any noises from the upper floor, stairs or the tv in the next room.
The breakfast was superb! The three course breakfast was a gold medal winner! Thank you John.
(I can say your grits are the best I’ve ever eaten).
I look forward to my next Asheville trip and to my next stay at the Sweet Biscuit Inn. Thank you Susan and John for your wonderful hospitality.

Not sure? However, we recently received a letter from the owners. They sold their B&B this past January and are now in Germany waiting to open another B&B. The letter stated that there were new owners but did not go into any detail about how the Inn will be run.

Is it possible to add on a Biltmore 2 day pass in July?
Answer from Sweet Biscuit I
Asheville, North Carolina14 contributions
Dear breezes97, that is certainly possible. Just specify your wish for any number of 2-day Biltmore passes ($58 each) with your booking, and we will make sure they are waiting for you in your room as you arrive at the Sweet Biscuit Inn. You can do so with your online booking via our website or just give us a call. -- IMPORTANT: Depending on the day of your visit you may have to reserve a time slot to enter the Biltmore house (not for the grounds, though). Just call the Biltmore reservation line at 866-779-6293. Make sure your time slot is no sooner than 10:00am if you want to enjoy our famous breakfast without haste. Looking forward to receiving you booking and to welcoming you at our B&B Inn, Christian & Claudia

Totally agree with mward. SBI is in a quiet neighborhood and would be a short Uber ride to downtown/restaurants. We were in Asheville for a wedding so dinners were prearranged by the family. Never felt like eating lunch out after the filling breakfasts at the Inn.

Thank you for your interest in the Sweet Biscuit Inn! JLFriedrich and Anna B are both right: The Carriage House (a fully furnished vacation rental) is the place to be with a pet. The main house and its guest rooms are pet-free. To add some precision: We welcome dogs and request that cats be left at home. On the website description of our Carriage House you will find further details about our pet policy.

Tank you for your interest in our B&B Inn! The accommodation that best matches your request would be our Bird Song Suite #7. It has a master bedroom with a king bed and an adjacent living room with a daybed sofa that can be turned into a twin bed. On our website (click on "Website" link at the top of our TripAdvisor listing) you can find detailed descriptions and current photos. We'd be delighted to host you.
