What a lovely stay at the Upper Georgia Peach. The neighborhood was so cute, the studio had everything we needed for a week's stay, and the staff was very accommodating and welcoming. Make sure you stop by the Well Bred Cafe. The coffee and the treats were yummy and our dog thought so too.
Our stay was exactly what we needed. Our daughter’s wedding was across the street from the the house. It was the perfect size for final wedding projects and hosting different groups. The sitting room was just as comfortable as the TV room. Downtown was so convenient. Loved being able to walk to a variety of places to eat. Driving for groceries and fast food was easy and quick. We will come to stay again.
We stayed at the Georgia Peach house and back apartments for our wedding weekend and it was a dream!!! We all had dogs and it was amazing to be able to walk downtown for dinner with the dogs along with walking the neighborhood in the mornings. The apartment itself was very clean, had great recommendations and dog friendly. Can’t wait to come back for our anniversary in the future 💓
We stayed at the Lower Peach and then the Georgie Belle the week of our wedding in Weaverville. We got married at Weaver House (right across the street) and having the houses with all our stuff so close was so helpful! The houses themselves are beautiful, clean and so cozy. As the bride, I particularly loved the beautiful, massive shower in the upstairs bathroom of the Belle. It was a beautiful way to start my wedding day! I took advantage of the gorgeous backyard seating area of the Lower Peach to write thank you cards to my parent and bridesmaids. It was such a beautiful and calm place. The houses are located right in downtown Weaverville, close to many local businesses and restaurants. The hosts were a pleasure to work with and very responsive. We accidentally left the top layer of our wedding cake in the freezer when we checked out. The cleaning crew saved the cake and the hosts stored it at their bakery until we were able to come pick it up. It was so thoughtful and we really appreciated it!…
We stayed at the Georgia Belle the night of our wedding and it was perfect! The house was so clean and had everything you need. Absolutely a beautiful place to stay! We got married across the street at the Weaverhouse and just walked right over. It was prefect for everything we needed for our wedding day!
We used Asheville Swiss Chalet's Lower Georgia Peach rental in Weaverville as an extension of our "getting ready" space for our wedding at Weaver House, and it was perfect! A little tight for six guys, but it included everything they needed and it made it so easy for our photographer to capture images of both sides of the bridal party before the celebration. Highly recommend, especially for couples, traveling to the Asheville/Weaverville area!
Great place for a couple with a pet, 2nd rental for us because of our pet. Did not want to be in a hotel. Able to leave our well behaved dog without worry. We were in the lower Berne so was subjected to top floor walking back and forth starting at 7:30 in the morning and continuing. Could not figure out why anyone would need to do laps in a small apartment. Otherwise was great. Shower is small and doors are a little hinky, but if you know it is small going in to the rental, not bad. Water pressure and spray is great! Very close to downtown but not walkable, parking is fine on off season.
While we've stayed at several other properties with Asheville Swiss Chalets, this was our first time staying at the Georgia Belle in Weaverville. This is an amazing property with tons of room and within walking distance to downtown. It's also just a short drive to Asheville, and we enjoyed an awesome evening at the Guitar Bar listening to the 40 20 10's - great music with great friends (and the owners, Julia and Mark, really take care of you!) We're looking forward to our next visit so that we can enjoy the porch in the warmer weather. As always, we had everything we might need at our fingertips and left feeling super pampered. We also enjoyed the unique design elements at Georgia Belle, especially the stained glass doors and the banister leading upstairs - absolutely beautiful! Thank you for another wonderful getaway! (PS That washer/dryer combo is on my wish list for home - I think I could fit everything we own in a couple of loads! Loved it! : )…
This trip we stayed in Weaverville (2nd visit) in the Lower Georgia Peach. The rental had everything needed to do some eating at home and great treats and supplies for our dog. We started using Swiss Chalets about 10 years ago and used several of the rentals in Asheville. We have never had a bad experience. The rentals in Asheville are very close to downtown but have the feel of being in the mountains. Whether you are traveling with a pet or not you can not go wrong with any of these rental locations.
Our stay in Lower Peach was excellent! Highlights: - Cute, clean, comfortable and quiet - Lovely neighborhood with quiet streets and sidewalks for walking. - Attached yard was so convenient and perfect for dogs, with super tall, solid privacy fencing. - We didn't use the electric grill, but it looked to be in great condition and would definitely use it on a return trip. - TV swivels so you can see it from the sofa, kitchen or bed - It was rainy and muddy during part of our stay, and we really appreciated having dedicated dog towels available for muddy paws. - Plenty of towels, kitchen seemed well stocked... the unit basically had everything. - Area felt safe. Did quick night walks around the block and never felt sketchy. Having travelled a lot solo, just want to mention I would personally feel comfortable staying here solo. It's helpful to have a flashlight if you walk at night in the neighborhood, but you can also just walk down Main Street which has plenty of bustle and lighting. - Right in the middle of downtown Weaverville, which we loved! Everyone in town was so nice. Downtown has a small park, Main Street Nature Park, with little trails (dogs allowed), which was great for a pre-dinner walk. There's also a nice pet store and some wonderful restaurants. We did takeout from Glass Onion and it was fantastic. And everything at Well-bred was delicious -- we're still talking about the eclair, and how we might recreate it at home, ha! :)…
