We stayed one night at the Haywood Park. You can not beat the location. In the middle of downtown and close to several restaurants with great walking and people watching. A short drive to the Biltmore. The hotel was a department store up until the 1970s. The decor is a mix of the 70s and 80s gold chrome. The place... More

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff for one were very amiable and were more than happy to provide advice and directions. The hotel itself was just beautiful and the rooms were exquisite. We loved its location in downtown as everything was a walk away. They also had a plethora of great boutiques just outside of the... More

I stayed at the Haywood Park Hotel for three nights. Our room was huge -- sofa, chairs, coffee table, desk, two double beds. The bathroom had two sinks in two separate rooms. The bed was supremely comfortable. The service staff was friendly and efficient. The folks manning the desk were very helpful and even provided me with tickets for a... More

We returned here for the fifth time in the last six years, this time with our two 9 year old grand sons. Previously we had visited as a couple. All 4 of us stayed very comfortably in one room since the rooms are really huge. Staff was friendly and helpful as usual. The hotel is in a great location within... More

Great hotel and great location! Rooms are huge and well appointed. This hotel is located downtown and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Complimentary valet is a plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Just one night for us and well worth it. Location was superb. Shindig on the Green was taking place so lots of music and food. Valet service gave great assistance in directions and points of local color. Check in was a breeze. Room was huge, elegant and well appointed. Turn down service left the best chocolate. We will definitely return... More

I will never be staying at the Haywood Park Hotel again! Myself and a few girlfriends stayed at the Haywood this past weekend for a bachelorette party, and we were treated very poorly by the front desk staff!! In previous trips to the Haywood, I have always been welcomed with a glass of champagne and friendly greetings. The lady working... More

Just came home from a four day trip to Asheville. Chose the Haywood Park due to its location, though no place is more than a few minutes walk from another in downtown Asheville, and its history as first a Bon Marche and then an Ivey's department store. Our suite was well appointed, the bed one of the best I've slept... More

The Haywood Park Hotel is located right in downtown Asheville. The actual building is an old Ivey's department store that has been converted into a hotel. The room (double queen) was massive and extremely comfortable. The valet parking is a wonderful convenience. You are within walking distance of coffee shops and restaurants. Perfect and comfortable location.

I stayed at The Haywood Park Hotel for nine (9) days and as they say in Real Estate LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! This hotel has the best location of any hotel in Asheville.
