I agree with most of the other reviews; this motel is not terrible but it certainly needs a lot of work. No one else mentioned that there is a weekly rate which means that there are people living here not just one or two nights. The hallway smells of smoke apparently someone is not reading the no smoking signs. The people above me were up most of the night, then got up before 0600 to stomp around for an hour or so before leaving. I also felt that this place is sketchy, when I went to dinner I put my bags back in the car, I didn't want to leave anything in the room. The fridge, micro wave and wifi were very good as was the tv reception. The room was clean, but there were some debris missed on the floor between the bedspread and the under bed barrier
I got mixed reviews on this motel, but seeing it in person, I can clearly say, no thank you. The gentleman behind the plexi glass window could barely speak English and seemed annoyed when I asked questions. The room was indeed clean even though there was an unusual odor. I would pass on this place if you can.
On 4/16/19 at 9:52 pm i called to make sone confirmations because my boyfriend was paying cash when he arrived but i used my card to reserve so i wanted to make sure that i didnt need to be there and to confirm his check in time. The man who answered the phone was very rude and unproffessional. I was told he could check in between 3pm and 12 am when i booked the reservation. The man on the phone said he will hold the room until 5pm and no later. I explained that he wouldnt be in town from work until 6. Then with great attitude he said he would hold the room until 6 and hung up on me. I worked in hotels for 5 years, if i ever heard an employee speak to a customer this way they would be fired on the spot!
I knew when I checked in, I wasn’t checking in to the Park Plaza. I knew it was a cheap $75 a night hotel. I’ve stayed at a few motels like this and never seen anything like this. The shower is covered in black mold. The sink and toilet were filthy. The two towels they provide in the bathroom, were dirty and looked used. GROSS. . There is junk all over the dirty rfloors and cigarette butts everywhere to the point that when r I am not e walking in, you can see under the bed which was full Of trash.....more cig buts, many candy bar wrappers have, packaging, burnt straw thing. I literally had to go buy bleach to. Clean the shower.
It is a rough little motel with a run down look. They are kinda' trying to renovate, but not really. But it is clean in the rooms and they have minifridge, microwave, and good wifi and cable. If you are here for business this is just fine. Don't bring your family.
