Our family of 4, plus two dogs, spent the whole season here in our RV. We arrived late April, just after they opened and are leaving at the end of September. This campground is very family friendly and pet friendly. There is a dog walk area, complete with shovel, complimentary bags, and a water bowl. There is also a fenced... More

This campground is older with mature trees. It is located just west of Gunnison, CO and about 7 miles east of the Blue Mesa Reservoir on US 50. They have full hookups (on most sites), a pool, laundry, propane, camp store (closes at 5), and lots of long term residents. They have a few rental cabins, though most looked owner... More

I was in town for 2 weeks for business and chose Mesa Campground for my stay. Campground staff was great! The sites were fairly wide. The grounds were clean and very quiet. Had to use the laundry room; clean and cheap! The internet was extremely fast for a campground. The only downside was that there was no cable. The site... More

We only stayed one night in this campground in our travel trailer. The campsite we were in was a gravel site, and was spacious enough, in a quiet back portion of the campground. It did have gas pumps on site. Restrooms/sare pretty average and there was no TV reception here. It was located several miles outside of Gunnison, but still... More

Campgrounds were neat and had gas and propane available. Wifi was available at each site and plenty of trees around. Nice and quiet at night. We would stay here again. Staff were very helpful. Any RV problems or repairs needed, there are several people available in Gunnison that would come out to the campgrounds to help. Enjoyed the location since... More

It's a well kept resort and the staff was very nice. They have a little store with a little bit of everything you might need including RV, fishing, and hiking supplies. Even provided free coffee. Bathrooms were very clean. Even had a nice dog run area with part of the creek running through it. They had their own laundromat complete... More

They double parked us. Space 54, 42.00. No table. Neighbors three feet away. Dump in our 'yard'. Many many open sites. Won't stay here again. It seems like they are just money hungry. Long term sites are the ones beside us. Not a good way to treat long term guests.

Mesa Campground was built over 40 years ago. We can't do much about the space sizes. We do offer many upgrades up to and including luxury sites with hot tubs and privacy fences. Our site sizes and pricing are comparable to all the other parks and campgrounds in the area. Our rates are published and posted in many places. Our... More

Not a bad campground. The site was a bit smaller than average with the next-door-neighbor's sewer connections less than 3 feet from our picnic table. Lot was relatively flat with minimal grass and a gravel base. Lots of great trees and we were luck enough to be backed up to a forest with a small running stream of water. The... More
