We chose this campground based on location, access to electric and availability of water. It's pretty easy to get to with our vintage camper as long as you stay off Kebler Pass. It's very close to a good selection of hiking trails and fast moving trout streams. The campground is well maintained but pretty popular so make reservations in advance....

We stayed at the Lottis Creek campground during our vacation to the Gunnison area. The campground was everything we had hoped it would be! Our 40-foot 5th wheel camper fit perfectly into site #5 in the Baldy Loop. The flat tent pad area was a nice surprise even though we didn't have a tent. Our kids had plenty of space...

We loved this campground. It is in the national forest in the heart of the Colorado rockies. Electric hookups and very clean pit toilets. Close to hiking, trout fishing and site seeing. We will probably camp there at least a week a year.

We just came home from spending 7 nights here. We really like National Forest Campgrounds in Colorado, they have always been clean, quite, just what we are looking for. No internet or cell service. The bathrooms are immaculate. Loved that this one has electrical hookups. Great place to do nothing but close enough to Crested Butte, Gunnison, Blue Mesa and...

Couldn't ask for a lovelier location to spend the last weekend of our camping season! Prior patron reviews assisted in our booking decision, so please trust in the statments (and photos) from past guests of this facility.

This is a National Forest campground, highly trafficked. It is absolutely immaculate! ... (almost a contradiction in terms). There is not a scrap of trash to be seen, dumpsters and recycling bins are cleaned and aligned, and the out-houses are as clean as any restroom with plumbing. The location is downstream from the Taylor Reservoir at the base of a...

We really enjoyed the quiet and the little creek that ran near our tent. We we pretty isolated from people - only 1 night had someone near us. VERY CLEAN!!!! Our kids really enjoyed our time time there with a little hike that follows the creek. Our only drawback is that the river across the street is owned by some...

Tent camped in "southern" Lottis loop (with electric). Very clean vault toilets. Sites are well spaced out, with easy access and level area for tents. Camp hosts were friendly and informative. Great access, just remember that Taylor Lake road has construction on southern end and must follow detour. Drove out vis Cottonwood pass which is dirt on western side of...
