Detailed Reviews
No pool, so be aware of that. The bath houses are large singles - I mention that first because it's important to me. Very clean and well-kept, as is the rest of the campground. No frills and probably not your first choice if you have kids to entertain, but there's a large lake for fishing and it's easy access to I-10.
The wifi is excellent, as is the cable TV. There's a nice big laundry room and free coffee and packaged pastries in the office. The people are nice here - both the workers and the campers. A lot of folks here for work, living their lives as opposed to vacationing, but they're tidy and don't turn the place into a junk pit like you see at other long-term campgrounds.
There's not a lot going on in Beaumont, but if you find yourself here for whatever reason Hidden Lake is a nice place to set up.

We stopped here for an overnight stay on our way to Marble Falls for a month. It had been raining for days and we were fortunate that this park was open and had a site. Very clean park and very welcoming. They even have free coffee and I mean coffee -- lots of choices. The individual type coffee maker so you can get lattes, decaf, whatever you want and fresh. The park was wet but with paved sites it was not a problem. Quiet and easy off Highway 10 place to stay. I can see this place being quite busy in the summer because of the lake sites. Wifi was good and TV also. We enjoyed our short stay. Would come back again if in the area.

We stayed a week. Park is well maintained and staff very helpful and pleasant. Lots of good restaurants within 5 -8 miles. This is a quiet neighborhood. Seems like there are quite a few long term campers staying here. Would definitely stay here again.

What a pleasant surprise. My wife and I booked a night here on our way to West Texas. The Hidden Lake RV Resort is an oasis in the middle of the warehouse district of the town of Beaumont in East Texas.
Easy access to and from I-10 in our 40’ Fifth Wheel. From the moment we pulled in I knew we were in for a treat. We were welcomed with a sign bearing our name and welcome in the office at registration. The office was neat, clean and smelled fresh. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. All our paperwork was filled in and awaiting our arrival. They provided local knowledge as to which stores to shop at for the evening. Directions to our site were easy to follow and though the roads were narrow and there were several turns we had to make there was more than enough room in the critical areas to navigate through the park stress free.
Our site looked like every other site immaculate. Whoever, is responsible for keeping the grounds up, knows what they are doing and take great pride in their work. The laws are manicured like a golf course. Grass all the way up to the waters edge of the small, 8-10 acre stocked lake.
Strong WiFi, strong enough to stream movies. Our Verizon phones had 4 bars. The sites are paved and have a paved picnic area as well.
The highway is nearby but it’s not a distraction. One nice thing about the warehouse district is all the neighbors are closed after business hours. It’s quiet.
We will definitely stay here again on our annual pilgrimage to West Texas for the winter. Next time we plan to extend our stay to at least a week.
Book with confidence.

I would NOT recommend you book a stay with these folks. I made a reservation on 2 February for 6 rigs/sites at this campground and verified my reservation in early July and this morning I got a call that they had completely cancelled my reservation because someone had come in who was going to stay longer than we were and so they were taking those reservations above ours. Incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable to kick out a reservation who was there first for someone else who came after that. I had to scramble to find another place for our group. I have no words for how incredibly disgusted I am with this organization and will never stay here and I don't recommend you do either. Don't treat people this way!!!!

Really enjoyed our extended stay at this campground. Staff is very friendly and very helpful with local questions. Well kept and enough space in pull through to park 39ft camper, dually and Jeep. Good little yard area for pets. No pool but nice fishing pond with boat rentals.

Lesson Learned: do NOT rely on staff spotter to guide you into your spot. Staff motioned my rig right into a metal obstruction that put long scratches on the side of my RV. I should have stopped and walked around checking it out for myself.
Spotter wisely ran off and never approached me about the damage.

We have used this park for many years on our way east along I10. WOW has it changed. No friendly greeting at the front desk. They are listed as Passport America but they are not. It is $40 a night for a pull through. The park caters to live in welders who work through the week and roar off to the refineries starting at 6 am. They are far more disruptive to sleep than the trains on the north side of the park. We avoided this park on our return.

There always seems to be some clueless old guy on a lawn mower that runs over everything at every RV park we visit and launches it at our RV. Poor maintenance of pull through sites. There are 4x4 posts everywhere to keep you from dropping a wheel onto the grass. All have been hit numerous times by big rigs. The power has gone on and off a dozen times since arrival and is still off, office can't explain.... of course it's not their fault. They asked if I had a generator... really? I think this place has seen better days...

My husband and I were traveling through and needed a place to stay over night. I called and made a reservation. I explained we had a 40 ft fifth wheel and a big truck on the phone. When we got there at 6:00 pm, and parked, some woman came out waving a flashlight and screaming at us to get our junk out of there. She never identified herself and when we tried to explain to her we had a reservation, she insisted she didn't care and wanted us to leave. She shoved the flashlight in my face and when I told her she needed to back off she threatened to call the police.
Her husband, at least, tried to direct us to a park down the road that he thought might have a place to stay. I'm not sure why anyone would have someone dealing with the public that is clearly psychotic like this woman.
