We had a 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen, dining room and living room for the price of one bedroom only anywhere else. The owners are wonderful, and gave us great tips on special hiking places and where to pick up stuff for my daughter's apartment. We felt like family. The breakfast was incredible. The beds were sooo comfy,...

This older inn was convenient and comfortable for our base camp while we explored the area. I shared the three-bedroom unit and found two of the rooms had their own sinks while the third bedroom was huge. The living room TV was a newer flat-screen that had handy side ports (HDMI & USB) so guests can review their photo and...

Stayed for two nights for a LANL visit. Clearly, there is a correlation between the price of the rooms and the amount the government will reimburse. I presume that most of their customers are either related to the Lab or on a budget. Although the owners are nice and the freshly made breakfast was sweet, room 115 (where I was)...

It's an older facility and has all the quirks that are to be expected. The tv didn't seem to work but we didn't care as the wifi was excellent and were too tired after all the hiking and running and sightseeing. Oodles of hot water and a comfy bed. Inexpensive, great location with easy access to all Los Alamos has...

Previously, someone wrote on this board that the owner of the Inn can't take criticism, and I am here to confirm this is indeed the case.TV remote is not working because, according to the owner, the guests press "too hard"? What about furniture, a few decades old, all falling apart? let me guess... the guests are all too heavy and...

I stayed at the North Road Inn for three weeks and I will keep a very good memory of it - every morning there was an excellent, generous breakfast and the room was thoroughly cleaned every day. Very nice owner, and very helpful too.

We weren't expecting luxury accommodations, but windows (no A/C but Los Alamos always cools down nicely at night) and a bed with clearance on both sides (so that one of us didn't have to literally crawl in) would have been nice. Ditto bedside tables and lights on both sides of the bed instead of just one.Sink in bedroom not bathroom,...

We went back to Los Alamos in late June of 2012 to attend the LAHS 50th Class Reunion. I had not been back to our home town for 45 years, and relied on one of our classmates to recommend a place to stay. Over the years, when she goes back to visit, she has stayed in all of the hotels...

We stayed for about two weeks at the North Road inn, during the Christimas period. The rooms are relatively large and quiet, and very clean. All the staff is very kind and helful. A special mention for the breakfast, which is made at-the-moment: very good! Definitely a good place to stay for short times as well as for longer ones.

The place is very clean. The location is quiet, if you are on the second floor facing the back. First floor is very noisy by the cars passing on the street and noise from the adjacent rooms. The walls are VERY thin - so you hear everything everyone else does - including going to the bathroom. The owner is very...
