Detailed Reviews
We can’t say enough about our stay at North Road Inn. It’s the best! Cathy is a wonderful hostess; she cooked a fantastic breakfast (best eggs & blue corn pancakes we’ve ever had), was so helpful with information on places to visit in the area, treated us like family. She took time to share interesting background on Los Alamos & the Inn. Our “room” was a roomy two bedroom suite with separate living room & full kitchen - more than we expected. Tastefully decorated, comfortable, we had everything we needed. We highly recommend booking your stay at North Road Inn when visiting the Los Alamos area. The location is convenient, it’s easy to find, and Cathy is the best.

+1
I stayed a month at the inn. Cathy was an amazing host. My room was always clean and warm, with all amenities I needed. With a beautiful view, great hot breakfasts and a bus stop located right outside the inn, this is a perfect lodgings for new hires at Lab as well as tourists. Highly recommended!

What an absolute gem of a location! The cozy interior, friendly people, and welcoming feeling I had staying here were beyond anything I had expected. The breakfast area is big and inviting with a large sunroom next to it with lovely views. My room was adorable and comfortable with all the amenities I needed, and both my dog and I were easily able to relax and enjoy our visit. There is a gorgeous park right down the street, and even a bus stop right outside the hotel should you need to take the short trip into town for anything you need. Cathy and her staff are so kind, and though I was only there for a brief stay I can't wait to return again. I highly recommend North Road Inn :)

This was my first stay here, while on a Southwest road trip with a friend. North Road Inn was recommended to me by another friend who lived in Los Alamos, who told me several of his out-of-town work colleagues have stayed there while in Los Alamos. It's located in a quiet residential area. It was a little confusing when we arrived since there's no reception office as in most motels or inns, but we found a couple of notes attached to what looked like the main doors that directed us to the room, which was unlocked with the key inside. I hadn't known quite what to expect, but it turned out to be a large suite with two bedrooms and bath, plus a living room and dining room / kitchen area opening onto a deck. The full kitchen was stocked with some cookware, plates, glasses, and utensils so you could stay there for an extended time and cook meals in the suite. The bathroom was a bit small but everything else was generously sized. It was quiet and clean, though the bed was a little too soft for my preference.
As good as everything else was at North Road Inn, the highlight to me was breakfast. The Inn has a homey dining area for breakfasts, which are made to order - Nellie cooked ours and was very friendly. You can have any combination of eggs (with optional cheddar heese, green chile, roma tomatoes, diced onions, and fresh spinach), pancakes, French toast, and diced fried potatoes. And all this was in addition to a buffet setup with fresh fruit, juice, yogurt, cereal, bread for toast, small pastries, and a few other items, plus very good coffee. And I'd call the price for the stay at North Road Inn a relative bargain. Very highly recommended, and I'd definitely stay there again if I'm back in the Los Alamos area.

This was our first ever B&B stay and the experience was wonderful, just wished we could've stayed longer but due to our truck breaking down, this owner, Cathy, was happy to assist us in temporarily storing our UTV on her property as it had to be unloaded prior to towing the truck. She could've easily refused not knowing how long it would sit but she didn't! Also, we truly enjoyed breakfasts; the blue corn pancakes are to die for!! Thank you so much again Cathy! We hope to see you again soon!

The lady who I believe owns the BnB was not very friendly or helpful on the phone during the booking and check-in process. We were excited about the large room and breakfast area. The same woman was very rude and offensive to our family during breakfast. She was not friendly to toddles, even with a basketful of toys in the breakfast area. We did not stay for the duration of our stay.

We've had a good stay at the North Road Inn. The owner Cathy was very nice and made us a wonderful breakfast. This is a very relaxed place, a little dated maybe, room was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. Only (minor) negative thing to note was the dust everywhere in our room and a good in-depth clean would be needed. Bathroom was en-suite so it was nice we didn't have to share like in some other B&B. Quiet neighborhood less than 5 minutes drive from the city "center". I would definitely stay here again and for $109 a night it was great value.

We loved our one night stay at North Road Inn. We sadly were only able to stay for one night, but will definitely be back next time we are in Los Alamos. Easy check in and out, clean and cozy rooms, nice hosts, delicious breakfast, Beautiful common room with tons of plants, quiet neighborhood for a peaceful night’s sleep. Also, most affordable place to stay in town!

I stayed for a week while visiting family and doing the eclipse thing. The rooms are comfy and equipped. The breakfasts are delicious with lots of variety. All in all, a good value and I would stay here again. Centrally located in los Alamos and easy to drive to the parks.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are nice (walls are a bit thin) and some rooms have full kitchens. I stayed for 1 month and was extremely happy here. Breakfast is very hardy and atmosphere is very friendly.

The owners 2 dogs roam freely through the North Road Inn. One of the dogs sat on the floor by me as I ate breakfast every morning. I would call them to find out their current policy.
