I stayed for a week while visiting family and doing the eclipse thing. The rooms are comfy and equipped. The breakfasts are delicious with lots of variety. All in all, a good value and I would stay here again. Centrally located in los Alamos and easy to drive to the parks.

We've had a good stay at the North Road Inn. The owner Cathy was very nice and made us a wonderful breakfast. This is a very relaxed place, a little dated maybe, room was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. Only (minor) negative thing to note was the dust everywhere in our room and a good in-depth clean would be needed. Bathroom was en-suite so it was nice we didn't have to share like in some other B&B. Quiet neighborhood less than 5 minutes drive from the city "center". I would definitely stay here again and for $109 a night it was great value.

There were termites in one bed. No apology or partial refund offered. Unacceptable. The breakfasts were good but decor sadly outdated. The walls are very thin and you can hear other people walking and talking.

BEWARE OF THE RUDE OWNER LADY (NAMED CATHY) HERE: I stayed here for 1 month with family. The rooms seem to be initially very good for the rent you pay. But wait, as days pass you will realize that the THERMOSTAT INSIDE YOUR ROOM DOESN'T WORK and there is NO AC EITHER. The building is very old (Built in 1987), so you ALL THE TIME YOU HEAR SOME STRANGE NOISE when people in the 2nd floor walk. THIS HAPPENS EVEN AT LATE NIGHTS NOT ALLOWING YOU TO SLEEP PEACEFULLY. My 3 year old child spilled something on the couch and the OWNER LADY asked me 1000 USD to pay for that VERY OLD COUCH. I REALIZED THAT SHE IS CHEATING ME and asked for an alternative. After hours of talk she aggreged to clean with a professional. She also got from me 104 USD for cleaning and when asked about the bill, she all time refuses to give the bill to me. I guess she has cheated me with my 104 USD. So GUYS BE AWARE ABOUT THIS INN. They PRETEND TO BE PROFESSIONAL, BUT IN REALITY THEY ARE NOT. They try to manage all these crap by providing breakfast and covering up other things. The only good thing here is MRS. JESSIE and MR. DAVID who work here and people love them for their kindness. BEWARE GUYS, THERE ARE MANY OTHER OPTIONS AVAILABLE AT THIS RATE IN LOS ALAMOS AND THIS INN IS DEFINIETLY NOT THE ONE I WOULD RECOMMEND TO OTHERS.…

This was our first ever B&B stay and the experience was wonderful, just wished we could've stayed longer but due to our truck breaking down, this owner, Cathy, was happy to assist us in temporarily storing our UTV on her property as it had to be unloaded prior to towing the truck. She could've easily refused not knowing how long it would sit but she didn't! Also, we truly enjoyed breakfasts; the blue corn pancakes are to die for!! Thank you so much again Cathy! We hope to see you again soon!

We had a very comfortable stay at North Road Inn during our exploration of Los Alamos and area. Our suite was clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable. Cathie cooked wonderful breakfasts for us and we enjoyed meeting other guests in her sunny dining room. We would definitely stay here again. -Arlene and Bill, Saskatchewan, Canada

What an absolute gem of a location! The cozy interior, friendly people, and welcoming feeling I had staying here were beyond anything I had expected. The breakfast area is big and inviting with a large sunroom next to it with lovely views. My room was adorable and comfortable with all the amenities I needed, and both my dog and I were easily able to relax and enjoy our visit. There is a gorgeous park right down the street, and even a bus stop right outside the hotel should you need to take the short trip into town for anything you need. Cathy and her staff are so kind, and though I was only there for a brief stay I can't wait to return again. I highly recommend North Road Inn :)

We loved our one night stay at North Road Inn. We sadly were only able to stay for one night, but will definitely be back next time we are in Los Alamos. Easy check in and out, clean and cozy rooms, nice hosts, delicious breakfast, Beautiful common room with tons of plants, quiet neighborhood for a peaceful night’s sleep. Also, most affordable place to stay in town!

The lady who I believe owns the BnB was not very friendly or helpful on the phone during the booking and check-in process. We were excited about the large room and breakfast area. The same woman was very rude and offensive to our family during breakfast. She was not friendly to toddles, even with a basketful of toys in the breakfast area. We did not stay for the duration of our stay.

We can’t say enough about our stay at North Road Inn. It’s the best! Cathy is a wonderful hostess; she cooked a fantastic breakfast (best eggs & blue corn pancakes we’ve ever had), was so helpful with information on places to visit in the area, treated us like family. She took time to share interesting background on Los Alamos & the Inn. Our “room” was a roomy two bedroom suite with separate living room & full kitchen - more than we expected. Tastefully decorated, comfortable, we had everything we needed. We highly recommend booking your stay at North Road Inn when visiting the Los Alamos area. The location is convenient, it’s easy to find, and Cathy is the best.
