Cottage rentals accommodate 4-6 guests. It also comes equipped with a fully functional kitchen with cookware, dishware, glassware, utensils, coffee maker, and toaster oven. There is also a private bathroom, heat and air conditioning, furnished living room, cable TV and Wifi access. Outside, you can enjoy a fire pit, picnic table and stand-up grill. Guests must bring their own linens. Mattress pads are provided.

Stayed here for a couples get away! We booked a charming cabin that was plenty large enough for 4. We loved the amenities, especially the tiki bar (shout out to Cory M!). We plan on coming back every summer. With their own private beach, restaurant, camp store, and even an ice cream shop, there is really no reason to ever leave!

Me and my friends went in the weekend of October 13-15 and when we checked there was a front desk lady named Ashley she was so amazing she had amazing customer service . She help and answered any type of questions that I had that needed to be answered you don’t see many of them people around anymore she’s is fantastic at her job .

I have been here before and it was a different name ( Castaways) .. but this place was one of my favorite campgrounds, I recommend this spot when wanting to go on a small kid friendly place.. I have been here in an rv, but this time I stayed in a cottage, this place was discussing, the fans, all bathroom, ceiling gross with dust. Frying pans not cleaned in the cabinet, fridge not cleaned, floor broken up.. I will post the photos

Almost got runover by drunk drivers on golfcarts coming home from the ice cream spot. Pool is way too crowded, warm and cloudy. Sun outdoors RV wants to charge 3100 next year for a dinky two bedroom cabin with a freezer that doesn’t work. Totally not a good value at all. These cabins are only for two or three people. There is no boats, boating or boat launch according to the staff, they are not allowed to dredge the bay to support this. Basically just a place to get drunk.

We have been coming for years and overall love the place. I have had issues with dynamic pricing and the Wi-Fi was Horrible! I do notice a difference in value since Sun took over and not for the better. Driving revenue is one thing, and when you do the amenities should work. Staff is great as always- and the check in staff is hands down better then any other Sun we stay at

We have enjoyed staying at Castaways/Sun Outdoors Ocean City for over 10 years. Over the last few years the price of staying here has greatly increased and we have limited our stay to only once a year at this property. We take 8 plus trips a year. Although we understand that the hospitality industry needs to maintain a level of profit especially in short seasons, this property has finally priced us out! Our recent 9 night stay included 5 different nightly rates for a total of over $1,200. In our opinion this was very expensive, but we accepted the pricing in exchange for the campground we have loved. However when our 9 night stay was coming to an end, we decided to inquire about staying an extra night. The very nice office person informed us that indeed our site was open for an extra night. As she was processing our request she became very shocked “ that can’t be right”, she looked some more and said”you might want to reconsider”. The price for our extra night was $236!! We indeed declined staying our extra night. This company uses something they call Dynamic Pricing, in our vocabulary that is nothing less than price gouging! This is just wrong and we will not be returning to this property. It is our hope that our site remained open (it remained so at checkout) and resulted in $0 for the night, although just a very small dent in what must be their great profit margin. We have also noticed, that in the past few years a big Sun Outdoor buyout of a lot of properties we have visited. We will most likely avoid these properties. We are often asked by other RVers, where our favorite spots are, we will most certainly mention the Dynamic Pricing this company uses. …

Loved this resort. It’s very beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed the Tiki bar on the beach and the pool bar. It was too cold to go swimming but the pool area and the beach were beautiful. I can’t give it 5 stars because there is some downfalls. Laundry only take’s credit cards and is expensive. The site prices for a holiday weekend was very high compared to other comparable RV resorts and the store prices for basic things was ridiculous. A can of Coffee was $9. A box of Graham Crackers was $7. It was cheaper to drink at the bar than to buy coffee. It’s also more geared for Adults which was great for us. Their sister resort down the road Frontier Town is much better suited for families looking for lots of activities. It’s equally as beautiful but has tons of things to do. I would definitely come back…

What a disappointment to try and book for next year and the rates have gone up YET AGAIN! Near $200 a year is unheard of. We've camped here for 10 years with family and friends and due to the rate increase with ZERO extra added to make up for the cost, this will be our last year ( and that is only because we are booked). SHAME on this company for these rate increases. I just got back from a 7 day cruise that was cheaper than this. Your campground and grumpy staff is definitely not worth a portion of what your next year rates are worth. And 1/2 down, give me a break! Good luck staying in business.
