Such a top notch campground with incredible rangers that are super friendly and helpful. Our site on the bay side 48C was easy pull-in with access to the beach and beautiful view. The sites aren't very private with minimal trees. Wonderfully clean and maintained. Showers...More

I love going to Assateague Island every year to see the beautiful wild horses roam free, camp by the ocean, jump the waves and watch the beautiful birds. It is AMAZING!!! It is also great for taking photos!!!

I can not possibly review nature&God's creation but I had to compliment the ppl that run the welcome center:especially one ranger, who educated us on sea creatures, and on the Assateague wild ponies, which as animal lovers,we were thrilled to see.Assateaque is truly a national treasure.

I camped at Assateague Island in March of 2016. I would never camp there again in March because it is the windiest month but I hope to camp at Assateague again and October or November are both possibilities. My concern with... More

I would call them. There are group facilities available and they could help you more. If you make individual bookings for a group of sites in one area, you usually have a change/cancellation fee of $10. That could add up... More
