I have to start with Amy at the Spa. She was Amazing!!! She was very attentive to everyone personally. So friendly and fun!! The best experience I have ever had at a spa!! I can't wait to go back!! Thank you so much Amy!!!
Booked a club room on a foggy congested Friday night. Best move ever! Greeted with sparkling wine. The service was incredible and the food plentiful, breakfast included made to order omelets. Great way to break up a trip!
The Tropical Fruit Bowl had only a piece of Dragon Fruit to make it Tropical for my standard. The rest were cantaloupes, blue berries, raspberries, blackberries and one strawberry (yes one pale cut in 4 pieces) were very average in flavor. Oh ! There was pine apple too so 2 tropical fruits out of 7. Long way to go to reach my Ritz expectations for a Tropical fruit plate.
I have visited this Ritz-Carlton location several times over the past ten years. It is one of my favorite locations out of the four Ritz-Carlton, Virginia/Washington D.C. locations. I keep returning to this hotel because of the Ladies and Gentlemen at this location, especially Shima and Wanda at the Club Lounge. These two ladies work back-to-back to serve all Club Level guests, especially during the past weekend, when Valentine's and President's Days were celebrated. This was the first time I saw the lounge packed with guests making lines to get something to eat. Even though the food quality has decreased slightly, Shima and Wanda go above and beyond to cater to each guest in the morning and evening. Both are unique individuals and deserve all the recognition they can get for their hard work. I highly recommend that when the Club Lounge is fully committed on particular holidays or specific dates to hire additional team members to support these two ladies. Also, I have to give special recognition to the following individuals for their hard work and for making our stay extra special: - Rooms (Sriram) - Front Desk (James and Karen) - Entyse Lounge (Aster) Thank you to each of you for the quality of service you provide. Most importantly, thank you, Aster, for making things happen, even when sometimes it seems impossible. I highly recommend this hotel for many reasons, but certainly for the way each member of the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner, takes good care of the guests. I will come back!…
Hotel was wonderful! Rooms were large and clean. Very quiet. We only had breakfast in the restaurant because we went for dinner the first night but there was a large group drinking at the bar and the noise carried over into the dinning area and it was unbearable, but we found a great restaurant next door, The Founding Farmers. Ate there three times! Had massages at the spa. Husband’s deep tissue was ok but not worth the expense. My massage room happen to be off the manicure pedicure area and it was unbelievably noisy. I mentioned my unhappiness to the manager and she gave we a 50% discount but even if it was free I would not go back unless they gave me a quiet room. So if you book a treatment make sure you ask for a room away from that area.
Entyse wine and bar & lounge, is an amazing experience, you can jet-set to Paris, London, Miami in one stop, the food is delicious, the ambiance is romantic and the experience is first-class. I recommend the chicken and baby carrots, Caesar salad, the dressing is yummy. I love the dark beer and rose organic wine as well as the tawny. Have a fun time. You deserve it.
This was my 3rd trip to the Ritz Tyson's Corner. I decided to try the concierge floor. Wow, it was fabulous. Breakfast 7-11am, Light snack 12-2p.m., Hors D'Oeuvres 5-7pm and Deserts 8-9pm. Bonus, if you like a glass of wine, choices were limitless and so a refills:) Everything was tasty and delicious. I had to opportunity to meet Ms. Shima (works in the lounge). She was very courteous and would call you by name every time you visited. She made our stay extra special by being so kind and attentive. She is truly a star and I hope to see her again soon. The main focus on the floor is service and I couldn't imagine not choosing this floor again. If you're in town on business, all the foodies might not matter much, but if you want to lounge around and totally relax, give it a try!! You'll be glad you did.…
Have visited this Ritz Carlton several times for short staycations, most recently in November. Went this weekend to take a short break from the cold weather in DC. I had the pleasure of meeting the spa manager at the pool. Gabriella is a true professional and is kind, gracious and funny. I hope to see her again on our next visit and spend another cold day at the pool :)
My favorite hotel in Northern Virginia. Came for Black Friday shopping and stayed two nights. The best location. I love being able to walk out and visit the shops I love without walking outside. There was a glitch at check in, but the front staffs surely made up for it and continued to provide attention. Small housekeeping issues, but I guess not everything can be perfect. Lounge was small but there was always seating available. Okay for breakfast and maybe late night snacking over a drink. I didn’t use it much other than to fetch coffee and my son’s milk. Loved the Diptyque amenities.
Sooo first, the hotel is clean and the staff is nice; especially upon arrival and checking into the hotel. The room was clean (except for the hair that was in the shower). I felt like that was minimal so I didn't complain. My husband and I ordered late night room service @ 12:15 midnight and room service ends at 12:30. We ordered fries and sliders. The fries were hard and looked like they were cooked with old grease and the buns were a little hard around the edges. We thought "Well it IS late then thought...... but its the Ritz Carlton. The quality should still be good; especially $85 for 3 sliders, fries, a small dessert and wine. Next, we decided to take a dip in the pool. Well we wanted to use the sauna but there was no attendant; not only that, there were no towels nor hand towels to use in the dressing room/shower. THEN, I called the front desk twice to ensure our 4pm checkout and STILL our keys didnt work at 3pm and had to wait for security (which only took less than 10 min but still). I'm really not trying to nit pick however for over $300 a night, I expected better.…
