The guest service experience I recently encountered at Hilton was truly disappointing. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, my wife is entitled to a daily F&B credit of $15, and the same amount of credit extends to an accompanying guest. However, during our recent stay, I noticed that only a $15 credit was applied to her account instead of the expected $30 for both my wife and myself. The $30 credit was confirmed by front desk staff members during our check-in the previous night (We always confirm the total F&B credit amount with the front desk agent when checking in). Upon bringing this matter to the attention of the front desk agent during check-out the next day, I was assured a refund since my account had been settled without the proper credit. However, despite this promise, no refund has been issued. Subsequent attempts to resolve the matter with Hilton Honor Customer Service were unproductive and very disappointing, as both the hotel and the HHnors CS team failed to take any corrective actions. According to the HHonors Customer Service agent, a case number was generated after talking with the HHonors CS team; however, despite this action, the hotel failed to address the issue. Unfortunately, the HHonors agent did not provide any helpful action, merely suggesting that I directly contact the hotel. Despite making multiple calls directly to the hotel, reaching out to various departments including the front desk manager, accounting department, and even the General Manager, all attempts to communicate were in vain as my calls were repeatedly transferred to someone who did not answer. Later, I was informed by the HHonors Customer Service agent that some HHonors points were given to my account, but she had no idea at all whether this was a result of the hotel's corrective action or simply due to my stay at the hotel. As I have not heard anything from the hotel so far, I am thinking of writing a letter to the corporation to address these service failure issues. Having previously worked for many years as a front office manager at several Hiltons, I have considered myself a loyal Hilton enthusiast. However, it is disconcerting to witness a lapse in service quality at my preferred hotel, where a customer's concerns are ignored, promises are unfulfilled, and the loyalty of a Diamond member goes unrecognized. This situation has left me questioning the integrity of the service provided by a brand I once held in high regard.

Hotel's Favorite
From the minute we checked in Olivia English made us feel right at home. The Hotel is Clean, Well Managed, Great Location with so many things to do on premises and near by. Patrick Bardenett checked with us every day to see if everything was ok and if he could do anything to enhance our stay. Sandra Leong was Fantastic with any questions or request we had. And George Sevdalis was the most prfessional Bartender your ever going to encounter, He Is The Bomb!!!! The Entire Staff was Great and we rate it 10 Stars out of 5 for the effort they made to make sure we had a worry free enjoyable experience Thank you again to the Great Staff and Management at the McLean Hilton! Can't wait to see you soon.

Diamond for Life review gives this Hilton five stars we came in for New Year's Eve and to celebrate with an event downstairs and from the moment we entered the room it was spotless they had some nice layout gifts for us and everything worked as it should most impressively after a Thousand Nights on the road with Hilton in the last 3 years I for the first time saw and heard a white noise sound machine with four speakers in the walls this is changed my life in the way that I sleep on the road 200 nights a year and just a small token of the things that they did right the food was Flawless the staff was amazing I will definitely be back and highly recommend this property

This is my third time at this property. I was fortunate to have received an upgrade, however certain parts of this hotel could use an upgrade. The hallways are dark and dingy, and the curtains, carpet in the room could used to be replaced. The bathroom smelled moldy. My third night at the hotel I got back after a very long day to see my room was not serviced that day. This was very disappointing after a long day. Room service was extremely overpriced, especially since it was delivered in take out containers and a paper bag. I expect more from Hilton.

My department stays here every year during our annual training. The staff are friendly and helpful, the gym has plenty of treadmills, and the king size beds are comfy. I also like that you can control the room temperature because it can get chilly at night in January. Hilton is the best!

This has the great feel of a luxury hotel: a grand lobby, super modern everywhere, great front desk service etc. I had a huge room. The views are just so so but nothing they can do about that. Gym was very nice as well. Breakfast buffet is not cheap but very good.

Great short 2 day stay at this hotel Enroute to the west coast. The location is nice and quite, a big mall near by that has many shops snd restaurants that you can find what you want. Staff at checkin were friendly, they gave a nice lobby bar with great food. The breakfast was really nice, food was good and had many selections. During dinner I have to say the food was excellent, the flat breads amazing. Overall a nice stay.

I have had the opportunity to stay at this hotel twice now for work-related purposes, and I would like to share my experience with you. During my first stay, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and tidy the room was. There were no issues, and I had a comfortable stay. However, during my second visit, I was upgraded to a Suite on the 4th floor. While the view from the room was exceptional, my experience was not as great as I had hoped. Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed that the floor was sticky, and my shoes kept sticking to it. I am not sure why this was the case, but it made my stay uncomfortable. The furniture, couch, and carpet had stains, and the wood furniture seemed to be falling apart. It was clear that the room needed some serious renovations and upgrades. The mini-fridge in the room was barely functioning, and the inside was covered in ice. As for the bathroom, the sink was in good condition, but the toilet was not clean. There was dried urine on the floor around it, which made me feel quite disgusted. I was surprised that it was not cleaned before my arrival. Though the hotel lobby was pretty, the rooms themselves need a complete makeover. The room service was also very expensive, which was disappointing. Additionally, the elevators were dirty, and some buttons were out of order, which made me feel unsafe. Overall, while I appreciate the upgrade to the Suite, my experience at this hotel was not great. I hope that the management takes note of the issues that I encountered during my stay and takes steps to improve the quality of the rooms and services offered. In the future, I might consider staying at the Marriot down the street instead.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights over the weekend. Overall, it was okay but not great. Even though it's supposed to be a 4-star hotel, it felt more like a 3-star one. The room was dusty, including the coffee machine, which I had to clean myself. They only provided 2 teabags in the room, which was disappointing. The hairdryer was also too dusty to use, so I asked for a replacement. The free shuttle service they offered was only available from 11 am to 4 pm, which wasn't very helpful for tourists like me who left early and returned late. The best thing about the hotel was its location in a safe and nice neighborhood, about a 20-minute walk from the metro station. Overall, it didn't quite meet my expectations as a 4-star hotel.
