Accommodation in Moab is generally overpriced but this place provides good value for money. Of course it is not luxurious, but it provides all the needed basic amenities (including on-site laundromat) and friendly service in a very central location.
Lovely local, recently and lovingly restored, motel. Super friendly and helpful staff ( thank you Mandy ad Leora) with ideas on where to hike. Extra large room with full size fridge, micro wave, dishes, coffee maker, hotpot. Good WiFi. We ended up working for a few hours in the morning. Able to leave our skies in secured area while we were hiking. Just an all round lovely stay. We will be back
This motel is in a great location, it’s reasonably priced, and the woman working the front desk was kind and friendly. My room was very clean and VERY well equipped. It was just what I was looking for and would definitely stay here again. I was by myself, but it’s absolutely perfect for families.
We (2 parents, 2 kids 12 and 15 years) stayed at the Moab Rustic Inn and will definitely stay there again if we come back. Rooms are really clean and beds are high quality. The outdoor provide picnic areas, shaded areas (including shaded front porch outside the room) and the pool area is nice and have some shading with trees and plantings (very nice in Moab in July!). Front desk is nice and helpful with advices. The location is conveniently close Main Street while also enough away (1 minutes walk) so that it is quiet too. All four of us f us enjoyed the stay very much.
This was a great hotel for our family! We were so pleased by how big the room was and how it had a kitchen to use with dishes, microwave, sink, etc. The pool was really nice with lots of towels. Very nice staff. Free coffee and cocoa in lobby, and free weekend donuts were a nice touch. Very clean.
Picked this place after reviewing several Hotels in the area. Glad we did. Well kept facility, friendly staff, and excellent location within walking distance of down town. Room was very clean and updated. Staff went over and above to answer our questions and give us places to visit. They even have free donuts and coffee on weekends and free coffee everyday. Even have free post cards for you to send off to family members. Loved our stay here and will stay again should we return to that area again one day.
Stayed 4 nights in Moab at the Rustic Inn. Good location 1 block off the busy main road. Plenty of parking small swimming pool. We had an upstairs room in the separate block, was told that daily room service was available, unless we put the “Do Not Disturb” sign outside. 2 double beds were fine - small bathroom with no sink, kitchen area had a double sink, so we used one for washing and other for crockery etc. Full size fridge plenty of storage space available. Quiet at night by setting the AC to fan only otherwise we were disturbed by the fan switching on and off. Able to walk to pretty much everything in town - no need for the car. Coffee hot water available at reception & doughnuts at the weekend. All fine for a motel - would I stay again? Probably, its middle of road location, standard and price.…
This is a motel, even though it has "inn" in its name. Positives: 1. Fast check-in. Clean lobby. 2. Good location: one block of the main/busy street, in the center of the town, still close to everything and within walking distance. Negatives: 1. At check-in, the hotel asked for personal information more than I was comfortable with, especially I booked through Expedia. And she had my credit card facing up, which could come across as handling customer info without care. I provided instant feedback and she took it well, which I appreciated. 2. The towels in the room looked worn/old, hence unclean 3. The check out staff was not too courteous. No greetings nor saying thank you when I dropped off the key to check out. Other items: 1. No elevators 2. No keyless entry, they actually gave you a key, but they use modern and secure lock. 3. No breakfast provided - if that's important to you. There are plenty of dining options near by. 4. Parking can be challenging. They have allotted enough spots for the guests, but some of spots are hard to pull in and out with tight space in between. 5. For a motel, this is fine. OK with one night. For the motel category, this motel does a decent job. While I personally prefer nicer and more modern hotels, but for budge travelers, this is a good option.…
We had a huge 2 queen bed suite with tile floor which contained a kitchenette with a full size fridge, micro, coffee maker, soft bath towels, and eco-friendly toiletries. The beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows were provided. The a/c was loud and turned on and off all night to save energy but this occurred at every hotel that we stayed at except one. There was free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby as well as a cooler of ice since the ice machine was broken. The free donuts were available on the weekend starts at 7 am when the office opens. Free doggie treats and postcards were also in lobby. The outside pool was open and plenty of towels were provided. There are several picnic tables around the property as well as a grill. The front desk staff who checked us in was very friendly and reminded us that we needed a reservation to get into Arches NP in case we didn’t know. We were surprised that they cleaned the room every day while we were there. Wished there were more towel racks to hang the used towels to dry but every hotel that we stayed at only had 1 hook.…
The Rustic Inn is in a good location a block off Main Street and close to the National Parks. It was very clean, has a nice pool area, nice kitchen with plates and silverware. It was a little weird that the kitchen sink doubles as the bathroom sink. I also think it’s time to get rid of the fluorescent light fixtures. I would have also appreciated some paper towels. Overall a very good experience and I am glad we stayed here.
