I stayed in the Kokopelli Lodge for a few nights in April, 2016. While the lodge itself is still probably the friendliest to pets in town, the booking arrangements have changed since my last visit. It used to be that just like every other motel/hotel, you booked online and that was that. Easy. Cancel however many days beforehand if you... More

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, the booking of rooms has been outsourced to a local company, and we are still working out some of the bugs. If you are unable to send back the check in form, there is always the option to check in at the office. One of the much appreciated conveniences that comes with returning the check... More

The Kokopelli is a quiet, old-fashioned, back street motel: the kind you'd see in the 1950's. It was built during the uranium boom, billed as the "Atomic Motel", and if it didn't cost $190 a night, I'd plan to come back. My recommendation: Consider staying in Monticello (where motels cost less than $100), take the beautiful drive to Moab for... More

Normal rates at the Kokopelli Lodge are between $79- and $89- for two people during the high season. Our booking site does take demand into account, so prices can go up for last minute bookings at busy event times. I'm glad everything else about your stay was pleasant, and if you would let me know the date you stayed, I... More

We stayed at the Kokopelli Lodge for two nights touring the national parks. The room was small but clean and quiet. The thing that I found unacceptable was the cost for the room was charged to my account three days before we arrived! We had to skip one of the NP to make our reservations, as we hit a freak... Thank you for your comments. I'm glad you found the room to your liking. The new policy to charge the room at the end of the cancellation grace period provides a convenience to the guest who can go directly to their accommodation and enter with a door code without going to an office first. It also provides security to our... More

One thing you have to know about Kokopeli Lodge is that they have 4 different buildings in 4 different parts of town. We stayed at the one a block or two off main street, across from the fire station. It reminded me of my first apartment. Not very big but comfortable and good use of space. Would stay here again.

Thanks for your comments! Lots of people describe the Kokopelli properties as "homey" and "comfortable", and that's just what we aim for - an affordable option close to town with the amenities you want and great customer service. This concept has won us many repeat customers over the years. We hope you will become one of them! More

Great stuff first. The suites are really like attached cabins. There's a full kitchen (no dishwasher), separated from the living room by a dining island: there was no dining table in our cabin although there was a patio table with chairs out back. The living room is quite large. There's a separate bedroom, also quite roomy with lots of hanging... More

Thank you for writing such a great review of your stay despite the rocky start. The Kokopelli recently transitioned to being managed by a well respected, locally owned property management company and there have been a few hiccups. I am sorry you were caught in one of those. Feedback like yours helps us get it right for the next time... More

Loved the whole setup. The decor was bright and cheerful. The layout, clean, functional and minimalist. Plenty of towels. Environmentally resourceful. Parking on-site and the location was within walking distance of main street. Coded key lock-box, which is very convenient. Would most certainly stay here again.

On a road trip back to Indiana from California, and arranged the trip so that we would spend a night in Moab for two reasons. First, the Arches/Canyonlands experience and the Moab town itself. Second, to stay at my favorite hotel in Utah, the Kokopelli Lodge and Suites! We called ahead to note that we would be arriving late (around... More

Thank you, thank you for choosing the Kokopelli once again and for your feedback. Our transition to a well respected, locally owned management company did have a few challenges, but I think they have all been worked through and things are once again running smoothly. That said, we need and appreciate feedback like yours to assure that the Kokopelli properties... More

Stayed at 100W property for four nights with my whole family. The units are cute and clean and four can fit easily. And the price was certainly right for Moab at Spring Break. Nice to have a microwave, fridge and some dishes. But the communication from the new owners/managers needs some improvement. If you stay here, note that you will... More

Advantages: Fairly new construction, clean, excellent location just off Main Street, Hot Tub (community) This is a great place to stay-much better than a hotel. Full size bed and bunk beds so comfortably sleeps 3-4. Otherwise, they aren't very big. The bathroom isn't super private with a sliding barn door that is open slightly up top. Overall, my favorite place... More

I really wanted to love this property. It is a bargain price on a quiet street just a block off Main Street so you can walk to restaurants and shops.
