We stayed two nights at the lovely and delightful Desert Hills B&B in late October 2020. We were greeted at the door by Anna and Vic and given a very warm and inviting welcome. Anna has the Covid protocols down to a science, and went over the process for how it all works while in the house. So, you can scratch worrying about that during your stay. The room we had was spacious, comfortable and immaculate. Vic is a great host and a competent chef as well it turns out. Both of the breakfast meals were superbly prepared, delicious and left us quite satisfied. Anna and Vic are the consummate professionals and just great people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, would definitely return, and suggest you book a stay here as well.

We had a short but wonderful visit with Anna and Vic. The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was fantastic - homemade yogurt, eggs from their chickens, homemade bread and jam, etc. Sitting in the hot tub and looking at the moon rising and all of the starts was a special treat! We hope to return when we have more time. Things we would request/improve upon: Nothing!

Desert Hills B&B is a delight, and I will definitely stay here again when we return to Moab! Anna and Vic are lovely, kind, warm, and super welcoming. Anna met us when we arrived, gave us a very thorough orientation to the property and their COVID precautions (A+ for a COVID-safe stay), and also gave us some tips & recommendations for where to eat in Moab and how to time & organize our visits to Arches, Canyonlands, and Dead Horse Point State Park. We stayed in the Sunset Room, and it was great! Super comfy bed, small but very effective fridge (helpful because we were in the midst of a road trip with perishables in a cooler), comfortable futon/couch, spacious bathroom with a great shower (good water pressure, nicer shower head than we have at home), and they really thought through the personal touches that make a real difference when traveling. They supply robes & sandals for the hot tub, a water pitcher in the room, etc. Breakfast was delicious and customizable, with a rotating hot egg dish or other entrée every day (when we were there the hot entrée options were an omelette and then fresh waffles), and they have tables set up outside with great views for very socially-distanced breakfasts. Vic & Anna were consummate hosts - friendly, available, and responsive, but not hovering. Desert Hills is a gem in Moab, especially because even the "cheap" motels will hike their rates during busy seasons. They don't adjust their rate seasonally, and even in low season, it's more than reasonable for the accommodations & service provided. They even will do a load of laundry for you, no extra charge.
