Very impressed with this RV resort. If you have a newer RV you can stay in their "resort" portion of the park. Wide cement pads & most have a covered patio with picnic table & outdoor lights. Pool is small but our family lived it. Clean restrooms/showers. Quiet. Amazing views and less than a 5 minute drive to the of... More

Portal RV has 2 sides, an public side (which I would not stay at on a bet) and an owners side. We stayed on the owners side or South Side. All the staff is interested in is selling the unsold lots that are left. While the pool is nice the adjoining restrooms and showers are not up to the standard... More

your review I think was just a bit extreme. I would like to correct you on some of your statements. All of our lots have been sold at the property and have been for the year. We do not even have sales staff on site anymore. So we are confused at who would have pressured you on lot sales. We... More

They were remodeling the bathrooms, so first night we had no water, second night they had a problem at night with electricity, the place is ok, has a little pond, laundry room and well located, but nothing like a resort, not near! Will not go back!!!

No shade. Would not let us set up shade tent. Site smelled like sewer gas. Soap never worked in bathrooms. Shower curtains covered in mold. Internet didn't work. No shade at pool to discourage you from using it. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE, ANYWHERE!

We stayed 3 nights in Portal RV Park; they unexpectedly gave us a spot in the Resort part of the park which had use of the pool and beautiful, clean restrooms/showers. The view from our spot was awesome of the red rocks; it was quiet, pretty, clean etc. Definitely recommend !

Love this park, huge pads, great water pressure. Too hot to visit here in July! I plan to come back in the spring or fall and will stay here again. The grounds are pretty and well landscaped. The laundry had 3 washers and dryers all of which worked, although it is at the far end of the park. We stayed... More

This is not the park to go to at the moment if you need good showers. They currently have portable showers mounted on a trailer while their new amenities block is being built. The air-conditioning on the shower trailer is sucking in a very unpleasant smell from the vent pipe on the roof. The owners were rude and arrogant when we complained... More

Prior to going to this RV park we had checked them out online. The website gives a very different view of this park than what you walk into. 1) The north side is very poorly maintained and was our only option as we have a Class C RV and were told that we couldn't stay on the south side. 2)... Staff was great. We arrived late, so our info was tacked to the bulletin board. Next morning they told us lots about what to see at Arches and Canyonlands. Facilities were good. Portable shower facilities while new building is built. Easy in and out. Not sure about a beach.

The campground is really nice, not real big. It is clean and well maintained. Only drawback is right now the showers are being remolded. They do have a trailer with showers. The first night showers were great. Not so much the second night, no hot water. The staff is very young and very nice.
