Moab Under Canvas is located 7 miles north of town. Just moments away from the entrance to both Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. The camp blends into its dramatic surroundings where deep canyons and towering plateaus create a raw landscape of immense power. This is no traditional camp site. This is camping as it should be!

Wonderful stay under very comfortable canvas with very clean shared bathrooms for those who don’t have the luxury canvas. extremely welcoming staff, always ready to help and nice events organized in the evening around a campfire. The only negative points are the price of the breakfast ($15 for a bagel with eggs and bacon delivered at 7:00 am ) and $4 for a pack of ice : considering the price of the canvas, one would expect that those are included!

We stayed with Under Canvas during Memorial Day, busiest weekend of the year for Moab. The location is nice because it’s far enough outside of town that you don’t have to deal with traffic, although you can hear the road a little at night. The staff is attentive and friendly, showing you around personally. We were able to borrow a cooler for our trip from them, and they offer fruit, water, coffee and tea in the reception tent. Beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean, hardly ever a wait considering the camp was full this weekend. The only suggestion I would have would be to add some more shelving or hooks in the bathrooms for your things. I liked the experience of glamping, but still with a minimal footprint on the earth, as the camp is mostly solar powered and uses pull showers to save on water. We had a great stay!

Thank you for leaving such an awesome and honest review of Under Canvas Moab! I will look to adding some extra shelving and racks into the bathrooms this week. Thank you for bringing that to my attention! We try very hard to make your travel as easy as possible, considering we are still camping in the desert. I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and realize the impact we are trying to make on hospitality. We use 84% less water than a hotel of similar size and hope to be waste free by 2022! Please come back again, we will be sure to have the S'mores ready!!

I took my two children, 14 and 16 yrs old, to Moab for the first time. We stayed at Under Canvas for 3 nights and had a great time. The staff works so hard to make sure everyone has a wonderful experience. Our tent with 4 twin beds was roomy and very comfortable. The campground was quiet at night and the view of the starry sky was incredible. Loved the little extras - entertainment in the evening, ice cones for the kids, and lots of cold water to refill our bottles. If I ever have the chance to travel to Moab again, I will definitely stay at Under Canvas.

Stayed here for 2 nights in August. A wonderful experience- staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, passionate and flexible. We were in the safari tent (the most basic) but it was extremely comfortable- great king sized bed. The washrooms were comfortable and clean, the nightly s'mores and banjo entertainment were great. I wouldn't change a thing.

We know it's hot in the southwest in summer, but we were not prepared for the unbearable heat in these tents. They are well set up, except that there's not a tree in sight or any shade. The staff does the best it can (including with a set up of water mist in the tents and free ices in the main tent), but it's just not possible to stay there in the daytime under that blazing sun.
