We visited this park in the summer of 2020 and called to make reservations. On the phone, the man told me I had to make reservations online. When I made the reservations, I reserved a water and electric site only, which was 35.00 dollars a night. When I was emailed my receipt, I was charged 45.00 dollars a night. I then called back the owner and he said it was too late to change the reservation. To top things off, it says on the website that the showers are free to campers. To our surprise when we went to take a shower, it was locked and you needed a key. When I went to the office the next day, the VERY RUDE lady told me that the showers were for tent campers only. When I explained that it clearly said on the website that it was free to campers, she got an attitude with me. The campsite was dirty and not kept up. The grass needed to be mowed desperately. The only good thing was the Wifi.…
A different kind of camping experience, there are long term trailer campers working/staying there, as well as us cycling afficiandos come to see Moab (again & again). Nice to meet some locals for insider advice. Well appointed shower/rest rooms. Nice soft tent site along a quiet river side. Good price and not in downtown. Enjoy the outdoors.
We’ve stayed here many times since we like the tent sites by the creek. It’s cooler and quiet and out of the wind. They sell ice and wood cheaper then in town. They run a nice tight operation so your stay is comfortable, quiet and secure. Location is good too, close to town. Food reliable wifi, clean washrooms.
My expectations were low going in but were pleasantly surprised. We were at T02 pitching our tent near the calming stream. Slept wonderfully !! The facilities were clean, shower water warm, toilets clean, quiet, cheap ice bags for purchase , coin-operates laundry onsite. Camping gem with a military discount. Staff were friendly. Well worth it and I would definitely come back😊
I did read the rules, however I was told there was a overflow area to wait until the Official Check In of 1:00 pm. The woman said it was probably full. I said We would drive down to see. I was sure I could fit in. Nobody was even parked there! Plus there wasn’t anyone in the spot we paid for. Never bothered to give the military discount either! SemperFi!!
