Reasonably priced. Ask for a room on the back - less traffic noise. Outdoor access so no indoor corridors to worry about during COVID. Clean and comfortable. Mini-fridge and microwave in the room. You can walk a few blocks to downtown for restaurants, etc.
The Apache is an old hotel in a good location. There are cheaper hotels on the edge of town, but then you have to drive and park to get something to eat. From the Apache, you can walk to all restaurants. It was relatively clean. Two light bulbs were burned out. The women in the office were both very friendly. the young man was snotty.
We had low expectations based on the pictures and the price, but we just needed a place to stay for one night and we're really not picky, so it seemed to fit the bill. That being said, someone else's balled up dirty underwear were sitting in the corner under the sink when we got there. Make if that what you will. 🤷🏼
This motel is pleasantly old-school & sits well away from the main drag in Moab, allowing visitors peaceful rest each night. My wife & I took my mom on a bucket-list trip here this past summer & spent two nights at the Apache, allowing us to explore the wonders of Arches National Park. Alas, when I left my video-camera battery charger plugged into the wall of the Apache & drove on to my next destination on our journey, I figured I was out-of-luck. But when I contacted the kindly staff, they mailed the battery to me--with some inconvenience to them, I should note. I would like to thank them for their kindness & recommend their off-the-beaten path motel to other travelers.
expensive for what it is but Moab is very expensive & this was cheaper that elsewhere. It is away from centre on surburban street, about 10mins from main street. Room basic but clean & comfy enough. Breakfast basic - cereal or precooked pancakes (that you can warm in microwave) nit really any breakfast area, just small sofa in reception or take back to room
