Moab is a great city for outdoor adventures: rock climbing, off-trail ATV adventures, river rafting and much more. The Big Horn Lodge is walking distance to the center of Moab. It is close driving distance to several national parks. The rooms are clean and quiet.

We really enjoyed a great stay at the Big Horn Lodge in Moab Utah. I booked this location on a recommendation from Jeep Jamboree USA about ten months in advance. It’s Pet Friendly which was a deciding factor even though we later decided not to bring our dogs. The Lodge staff were very accommodating, adjusting us to a non-pet room to save us some money. Check on was pleasant and easy. Our stay was great and the room was well tended when we requested it. The room gave a lodge vibe with wood panels and log beams which gave us the feel of being in a cabin. The lodge was filled with Trail Guides and sponsors (both a good sign in my book) and they accommodated our Jamboree departure with extra coffee and well staffed front desk each morning. Overall the pleasant staff made this a great place to stay and we would choose this lodge for future stays!

$206 for one night was cheap compared to other places in town. Office had tea, hot chocolate and coffee. Old motel/Inn style.  Double queen room with round table and 3 chairs pretty comfy.  Very old tile floors not smooth like today's style.  Big tv.  Old style air conditioner in wall but kept room very comfortable.  Ceiling fan in middle of room.  Lots of lighting.  Tiny bathroom (could be made bigger by knocking wall out and moving door) but shower was good.  Not hard pressure and no options to change but good. Comfortable bed and excellent pillows.  The outside pool in late September was decent temp.  Want a quick and Delicious pizza, Moab Grill next door (in same building as motel office).  AMAZING.   Small 10" feeds 2 people plenty.

Stayed for one night. Had an early morning at Arches. Big Horn Lodge was perfect for our needs. Wish we stayed another night and had another day in Moab. Front desk was helpful, check-in was easy, room was perfect and clean. They also provided a pack n play for our infant daughter. Good location. Next to Moab Brewery which was nice and only 10 minute drive to Arches. No complaints and hope to visit again someday.

The room was large, clean, cold, and perfect for a one night stay in town. There's a microwave and fridge and window type A/C unit that cooled us down quickly. We liked the rustic paneling and bed headboards with Western styled furniture. The hotel is a little dated, but you won't pay the big bucks like the brand new properties on the edge of town. Our first impression from the outside was that it looked well maintained, unlike some of the cheesy mom and pop places nearby. There is an inviting pool on property along with plenty of parking. We had dinner and breakfast in the adjoining Moab Grille and were satisfied with the food and service. The downtown restaurants tended to be quite crowded as we walked among the many shops in the evening. Big Horn was the perfect choice for a budget minded couple like us.

We checked in and were informed that the state of Utah is experiencing an INFESTATION of a certain BUG type. There were pamphlets on the check in counter regarding the bug problem. The receptionist ensured us the bugs were only found in the windows and door cracks. Upon entering the room, it STUNK and we immediately found a bug located on the bathroom counter. Within 3 minutes, I had 2-3 bugs crawling on me. They were seen flying around the lights, on the chairs, on the vanities, EVERYWHERE! There was also incredibly insufficient AC and the room was still too hot for the Utah summer. Went to an updated, bug free hotel for cheaper.

Nice motel, clean, reasonably quiet, comfortable, pleasant staff members. Parking lot gets busy. Small pool, but it's a nice amenity. Request first floor as no elevator to second level. Spacious rooms. MOAB motel price are high- this motel was more reasonable. Nice historical books about the area are available to read in the room. Supermarket across the street and great spot for pizza a block away. Coffee in lobby.

We found Big Horn Lodge to be a great economical place to stay for our Arches and Canyonlands National Parks visit. Lodging in Moab is very pricey, but you are paying for the convenience of being close to the parks. We couldn’t justify spending an arm and a leg for a room for 2 people when all we needed was a reasonable place to sleep. So Big Horn Lodge fit the bill! The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and had decent amenities. They provide a fridge and microwave, a large modern flat screen TV, fast WiFi and lots of plugs and USB charging ports. They even provided a small table and chairs that came in handy for eating or cruising the internet. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. No breakfast is provided, but there are lots of restaurants nearby and a grocery store within walking distance. The AC/heating unit setup in the bath area is a little different, but it worked fine and there is also a ceiling fan in the bedroom. The tub and toilet area is very tiny. However, the sink, counter and mirror area are separate and more than adequate. Overall, this motel lived up to its excellent comments and reviews. I wish all the places we have stayed at were this good!

Staff was friendly, room had a microwave and fridge, and everything was clean. Some road noise, but muted enough it wasn't a problem. A/C is in bathroom, which is a bit odd, but the ceiling fan over the beds helped tremendously to spread the cooler air. The pool had a 9-foot-deep end, which my teenage son loved. Pet friendly. Not much of a pet area, but there is a gravel road behind the motel and poop bags are provided. Restaurant in parking lot was closed for the duration of our stay. Great location. Tip: The vents on the A/C unit can be tipped up when someone is using the sink and mirror so they don't get really cold.
