Detailed Reviews
Lots of gravel and the accompanying dust. Small sites that feature easy hookups and unusable picnic tables...unusable because the exposed wood is rough with peeling paint. There is ONE receptacle for trash for the entire campground. Wifi is a hit and miss proposition, although their website offers better for a price. Nice clean pool, restrooms, and hot showers are a plus. We found the fellas who drove around and around with clipboards a bit creepy...we felt as we were being watched. Would have been nice if they had gotten out and maybe emptied the ashes from our charcoal grille or picked up the trash or stopped the children from riding their atvs up and down the paths between the rows of restrooms. We won't be back.

I stayed here for 6 nights in May, 2021. Instead of an RV, I stayed in one of the basic camping cabins, Kokopelli. This cabin is in-between RV sites rather than grouped with all of the other cabins. I had 5 different neighbors in 6 nights and because most of them liked to sit out at night, they were right outside my window. This cabin also created valuable shade for my neighbors, so they were often huddled next to my cabin during the day.
The good news is that the AC worked well but because it, the TV and the refrigerator each needed an outlet, there was only one remaining for me to charge a few different devices. I ended up buying an extension cord in town to add a couple of more. The bathrooms were decent for a campground, but later in the day became soggy. Finally, when I decided to leave @ 9AM, there was no-one in the "office" to check me out. I think I'd pick another campground next time.

We stayed in one of the cabins with its own bathroom, and we had a good experience here. The staff was friendly and helpful and the cabin was clean. We did have to put the sheets on the bunk beds (they were provided but just sitting on the beds when we got there), which I felt like should have already been done, but it wasn't a huge deal. It's convenient to Arches NP, which is why we stayed there, and overall we had a good stay.

Property's Favorite Review
I had reservations based upon previous reviews, but I was very pleasantly surprised. There’s a new manager there working with new staff to keep the grounds clean, and the bathrooms even cleaner. I was greeted at check-in by a lovely lady who had our packet ready making our check-in a breeze. We did not expect a particular site. Very happy what we got, an end with a tree with late afternoon shade.

We took a lengthy trip this summer and by far this was the worst RV resort. which by far is no resort. pon arrival for a three night stay, we were told the pool was closed and it was 110 degrees and we had been given no prior notice. We were told we could swim at one of the other Sun RV Resorts and we asked if we could move to that resort. We were told by the staff they could not make a call for us and we would have to drive there which we did. They were fully booked and the pool was so overcrowded that it was definitely an unsafe COVID-19 environment. We opted to go back to our motorhome and blasted our air conditioner. There were no amenities at all to enjoy - even our picnic table was falling apart - and yet the price was the highest we paid on our entire trip. We hurried the next day to see the sights and we cut our stay short by a day. Upon returning home I reached out to Tina Yates their manager via email twice expressing my concerns and never received the courtesy of a reply.

I would not recommend this campground, it is on a very busy and noisy highway. The campsites do not have fire pits, but you can rent one, if they have any. The employees are rude and not very customer friendly. The showers are small and cramped. The sites are also small unless you pay for a “premium” site away from the highway.

This was a terrible experience from the beginning and disappointing waste of money overall. To keep it simple: 1) wifi does not work on lots farthest from hwy, 2) cable does not work period, 3) pool is as murky as the Colorado River, 4) reservation system is clunky and changes are *extremely* difficult, 5) we were bumped from a locked site, 6) all but one staff here are cranky, 7) all phone reservation staff are awful. The other issues pointed out in reviews are true, too, no need to repeat here. Honestly the reviews from a few years ago sound pleasant...seems the newer management have made it worse. Unfortunately they own several locations in Moab so finding something not owned by them would be my suggestion. And ignore their lame feedback to my (and other) reviews...it is clear they don't care. Finally, yes we sought help from office for our issues, from problems with reservations to problems with our stay: nothing helped and we wasted a LOT of money here. Most disappointing location we have ever stayed in Utah.

The Archview RV resort is very convenient to Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, and Moab. There are tons to see in the area and this full service RV Park is a great base.
The positives are reliable and steady power (even in the heat of summer), easy pull thru sites, a nice pool (remarkably cool despite the air temp), clean restrooms and laundry facilities, a well stocked store and gas station.
The negatives include very limited pet areas, only one trash dumpster, narrow sites, and an office that closes early.
All in all, it is a well maintained Park that I would go back too.

Great Staff, nice place to stay, but..... If you need to use email, texts, or anything else this is not the place to stay. They say they have free wifi, they don't have usable free wifi. Our entire group which stayed there several days had no wifi the entire time. I paid and upgraded to premium wifi and it was still not useable. They should let people know before they stay that they actually don't have service that is useable in most areas of the campground.

Hi Brian, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are pleased that you enjoyed the location and the friendly staff. Our WiFi is suitable for checking emails or updating social media, but it does not support streaming or video calls, and it does slow down when the campground is full and lots of people are online (such as a holiday weekend). While we would love for all of our guests to be able to unplug and enjoy the Outdoors, we understand that jobs and other responsibilities will sometimes follow us wherever we travel. Therefore, we are always keeping connectivity in mind as we plan our future improvements. Meanwhile, we hope you were able to enjoy your time exploring the Outdoors.

I strive to only leave positive reviews, but I would like to warn others about this campground. The location is incredible. Very close to Arches, however the pictures they are showing must be off season, because we literally felt like we were parked on top of each other. We also experienced some problems. Some of the problems were out of the campgrounds control, but they did nothing to accommodate the guests. There was a bad traffic accident that caused the campground to lose power for over 2 hours. While I understand they didn’t cause this, the staff literally bailed when the power went off. Closed the offices and gas pumps, etc. The only reason I knew this was because my daughter was swimming at the pool when this happened. This is Moab, Utah in the summer. It is hot. They were not able to give us any idea of what to expect. In this case the power was only out a few hours, but if I would have been out at the national park and had a pet in my camper, they could if died. Also near the end of our visit the pool stopped working and they closed it without any information on when it would reopen. We choose to leave a day early and when we brought these issues up nothing was done to accommodate us. I’m sure others have had better experiences, but I will not return.

We used regular detergent there and the machines were coin operated.
Yes they did have bedding, think you had to make beds yourself though. It was a small room but fine for a couple of nights and wash room facilities were clean
Helen
Yes, I think it begins around 2200
Not sure if they'll actually let you put a tent in a space for an RV. There are a lot more RV sites than tent sites. You could ask or just do it!
