Despite being in town, the campground was quiet and felt like it was along a stream in a rural area. I liked the complimentary carts by the parking area for toting stuff to campsite. The management was well organized and made it easy to do self-check-in, etc. Ever other camper with whom I spoke was kind and helpful. A group... More

This is the second time I have stayed at Up the Creek. If you want to find a clean, safe, affordable and shaded place to tent while visiting Moab and the national parks (Arches, Canyonlands) close by, then this is the place. Yes, this campground is within the city- you can walk to the main street (or bike or drive)-... More

This land is magical! I loved the location, how easy check in, our stay, and check out was, the owners, the Luxury Tent, hot and cold showers, our neighbors, free parking, ice, electrical plug ins, how peaceful it is, the trees for shade, and our entire experience. We got the Luxury Tents. I highly recommend getting one! We had a... More

The website advertises the campsites as it is: no false advertising. Everything was in proper working order, and the owners gave clear instructions. Having showers and bathrooms with flush toilets was great, and the shade from the tree at our campsite offered some welcome respite from the heat. But the site was sandy and rocky (probably endemic to the area).... More

Wow, what a pleasure it's been to stay in this space. I love that they have hot & cold showers, a chill atmosphere, very affordable rates, a place to plug in your electronics, that it's walking distance to the main road, there's plenty of parking, they have carts for your belongings, ice is only $3, and everyone we've met has... I wrestled with giving this property an average or a good ranking. For what it is, it is perfectly fine. It is a campground a couple blocks away from the main drag of Moab. You can walk to the restaurants which is very nice. The sites themselves are smallish and offer absolutely no privacy from your neighbors. Do not expect... More

My husband and I stayed here last week as part of our 10 day trip across Southern Utah. This was one of our favorite campgrounds from the trip. We were not sure what to expect and were worried that we would have to haul our stuff quite a ways in the heat (it was around 109 F). We were pleasantly... More

This little campground is located in the residential part of town. It's pretty much self serve and you pay with a credit card ahead of time. The reasonable cost makes it a good choice if you're there in Moab to camp and do outdoor activities. If you're planning to stay there I would recommend that you make your reservation early.... This campground is only for tent camping and is self check in. For one person it was cheaper than the rest of the campgrounds. They had wheel borrows to hawl you stuff from your car to the site (neat idea). It was about 2 blocks from the main drag but amazingly i didnt hear much traffic maybe the river that... More

This campground is located in the main town of Moab. But it's tucked away and off the main drag so you don't hear all the traffic. (Note, you do hear some traffic). Each camping site is a decent size and all are walk in. They provide trolleys (like a big wheelbarrow) to carry your stuff from the car to your... More
