Spent a week here and it met our needs pretty well. Pros: Good proximity to the paved bike trail across the street. Entire campground is paved with pea gravel which keeps the flying dust to a minimum. Large clean bath & shower facilities. Pool & jacuzzi. Nice views of nearby cliffs. Cons: the RV campsites are TIGHT but I think that's fairly common in Moab.

Thank you for reviewing! We're glad you enjoyed our beautiful location and convenient amenities. You're right that camper units have grown a bit since the park was built, but our guests are generally great neighbors, and we make it work just fine. Enjoy your travels and be sure to stop back again whenever your path leads you our direction!

I'm not sure why this doesn't have a higher rating. We are here right now. The location is out of town but it's a quick drive in. The spots are somewhat close. But if you want privacy go to BLM land. This was a good base for exploring. The staff was so friendly. The bathrooms and showers are nice and clean. There is a row of sites right under a hotel, that might be weird for some people. I would come back here with no reservations. Well. I'd make reservations, you know what I mean!

Friendly staff, Easy check in, store for supplies, pool, spots were gravel but level. Some areas had more shade than others. The spots were close together. Dog park, children’s play area. Great showers (no tokens required). Excellent location between Arches and Capitol Reef. Sun Outdoors currently has three locations within this area, be sure to book the one based on location. There is a delicious brew pub at the front of the property called Proper Brewing. after a day of hiking it was a perfect easy spot for dinner.

First, when you make a reservation for a particular site, if you want to know that they won't move you, there is a $50 site lock fee. Seriously? We were camping with friends, so had to pay it. By the time we were done it was over $100/night. The sites are way too small. Even with a "Deluxe Full Hookup Pull Through" it is super tight for our triple slide class A. The whole things is just a gravel lot with some hookups and a few trees...that are kind of in the wrong spots. They are installing lights that are way too bright for sleeping. Do they think we are performing surgery at night? Fortunately they hadn't gotten to our part of the park, but you can see where the concrete pad is for the light...right by where our RV is. The "Dog Park" is tiny with a wooden fence around it that nobody can see in or out, and has no gravel or poop scoops or anything, just hard dirt. The WiFi is 5X1.5 Mbps for free, and $20/night for anything faster. It slows down drastically in the morning and evening when people are using it. You constantly have to log back in even while you're using it, so we ended up using our peplink cellular the whole time. So if you stay in a tight spot, that is locked, with good WiFi, in the off season, it's $120/night. Also, it's $15/night for a parking spot for a trailer or tow vehicle. SUPER OVERPRICED FOR WHAT YOU GET! I guess this is what people are talking about when they talk about the corporate buyout of all the RV parks.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We apologize for the Wifi issues during your stay. It has been a process to correct the speed and connectivity problems, but the repairs were just completed, so you'll notice a much stronger connection in any future visit. We are aware that the sites can be tight depending on your equipment. In addition to the Deluxe site you mention, we also offer longer Extra Large sites and wider Premium Wide sites that might better meet your needs. Please note that the optional site lock fee only applies once per reservation and is not a repeated per-night charge. We appreciate the feedback regarding the light installation project. Our aim is to improve the safety and convenience of nighttime arrivals while still considering the needs of our sleeping guests. We hear your concerns and are currently exploring dimmer options. In addition, we are planning some upgrades to our dog park including grass for furry friends to enjoy as well as some benches and some other play items. We are listening to our guests' concerns and appreciate your feedback. We hope your travels bring you back our way in the future and we will have the opportunity to show you the improvements that we have made!

They spaces are very close together. They definitely don’t take camper size into consideration when assigning the spots. Our 39 ft. fifth wheel just fit into the spot they assigned us. We had to park our truck up by the office where they had several parking spots that were first come first gets. The spots were full every evening. The people across the road from us had their car park partially in the road so we had to maneuver within inches to get into our spot. No one was at the camper, so I went to the office and asked if they could contact the people to move the car so we could get into our spot. They told me they didn’t have a phone number to contact them. WHAT ??? They always ask for a contact number . Several other campers were watching as my husband maneuvered into our assigned spot, and couldn’t believe he got into the spot. Our door opened to our neighbors septic. We had to move the picnic table out by the road in front of the camper to be able to use it. . They had some bigger spots with small campers in them, go figure.

Hi Amanda, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry that your neighbor's parking situation caused you to have a stressful arrival, and we're glad you were able to get situated in the end. There are a few reasons why we may not be able to reach a guest by phone, including overseas phone numbers. Camping vehicles have grown and changed in the decades since the park was built, and innovations such as slide-outs have made sites a bit cozier. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to guide our future improvements and enhancements. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in our fantastic location.

My wife and I booked an RV site for two weeks while we played tourist in and around Moab. The facility and staff were outstanding! The location is a mile and half outside downtown and was perfect to use as a basecamp as we explored. The new pool and hot tub opened while we were there and a great way to relax after the day's adventures. The restroom and shower were brand new and kept very clean. Even though Moab is known for mountain bikes, jeeps and side by sides the campground was extremely quite!! We will definitely stay there again on our next trip!!!

This campground is WAY overpriced for what you’re getting! To pay this high a price to stay in a “gravel ghetto” was maddening. We didn’t know what we were getting into when we called to get a site. The grounds: Other than a paved road that makes a loop, everything is gravel. There are many trees, some placed where it makes it difficult to park a big rig. There is not a single blade of grass, or flower in the entire park. Spacing: The sites are much too close together - RV’s are packed like sardines. At our site, it was literally five feet from our slide out to our neighbor’s, on both sides. Signage: To find the park, there is NO sign if heading north; a small sign if heading south. Great signage inside the park. Utility hookups: Full hookups, but poorly positioned. Our connections were actually in our neighbor’s space. Our site was also not level. Bathrooms: They were clean, modern, and fabulous. Dog park: Tiny, all dirt, no seating for humans. Staff: They were friendly and professional. Pool: Small, not open as of mid-April 2022. We will NEVER stay here again.

Location was good in relation to places in Moab. Our site was extremely tight. The polite thing to do is not to put your sewer out until you need it as the neighbor's picnic table is over the sewer. The sites are perpendicular so they take a bit of manuevering to get into them.
