We stayed at the Virginian Motel in Moab, Utah, for 3-nights in mid-Sep ($119) while visiting Arches and Canyonland national parks. The Virginian is a traditional 2-storey motel located on a quiet street just a half block from the central part of main street. It consists of 2 wood-frame buildings set at right angles with a grassy area and picnic... More

I had a great time in Moab, and a lot of it was due to the lovely people at the Virginian. The motel is very centrally located on the main drag through town, with a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance. When asked for advice, the owners were helpful, friendly, and kind. And there are kitchenettes in the... More

The Motel is centrally located, but a bit dated. It was clean and plenty of space within the room with a fridge and cooking facilities, along with comfortable beds. Got delayed on the way from Denver - rang the owner who waited up for us after 10PM - a nice touch. Stayed here on 2 separate occasions. If you have... More

I can't come up with anything positive to say other than that it's within walking distance of a bunch of eating and souvenir shops. Even though the place was clean the Owners could fix a lot of the shortcomings with basic tools.

We found the hotel room spacious, clean and the location made walking to dining and shops easy. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the frige/freezer had a build up of frost in the freezer compartment so the door couldn't close properly and therefore the refrigerator froze our drinks. We reported it to the office. The room... More

We arrived in Moab early, and the owners were very nice, giving us great tips on places to see, and restaurants to try out. The told us about Dead Horse Point State Park, which we would have normally missed, and it was fantastic! The room was super clean. They gave us a rollaway bed, and everything looked great. The kitchenette... More

This is the third visit to this motel. I haven't reviewed it in the past because it was just average. This time was different, don't know if they changed management or not. The person who took our reservation was very pleasant, unlike the past. The room we had was definitively updated with a new large bathroom, tile and very large... More

I only stayed a night but enjoyed my stay. The staff was helpful and friendly though i arrived pretty late. I was on my own so the room, with two queen beds, felt huge, and i took advantage of the kitchen facility (free pans and pots are available to lend). I had a very confortable stay. My only qualms is... More

Managers were very friendly. Room was clean. Small but sufficient and a bargain (at least the cheapest best quality hotel I can find at the time of booking) stay to visit Arches and Canyonland National parks.

Rooms in Moab seemed to be higher than many others I stayed at during my trip. Considering that, it was good value for the city with a nice room with a microwave and refrigerator. It's in a good place in town, easy to get to the parks and in easy walking distance to a great diner. Kind of spotty wi-fi... More
