I booked this hotel due to the great reviews on tripadvisor. It is an older hotel . The room keys are actual keys not cards. Our room was small but not to the point that we were tripping over each other. There is a small fridge and microwave in the room which is a plus. The beds and pillows are... More

We stayed in Moab for a week at the Virginian Motel. This place was absolutely fabulous! I cannot say enough about this place! It was clean, right in the middle of town and the owners were GREAT! The room has 2 queen beds, a kitchen and restroom with a tub/shower with GREAT water pressure! I highly recommend staying here if... More

My husband came to Moab on Business which left a lot of time for me without a car. GREAT place to walk my dog, lots of trails. Close to town, lots of shopping and eating places nearby. People here are very friendly, rooms are very clean! I would even stay here without my pet. Kitchenettes are very convenient.

The room was very clean even though the motel was old. While I was there I saw both the managers and the house keepers work very hard. They were all so nice and pleasant when I ran into them. Very upbeat and positive attitude by all. I would recommend that any should stay there. The cost of this motel beats... More

Great friendly little place, the best value I could find in Moab, and I got a great sleep. Staff were really friendly with recommendations for places to eat and where to go and see. The room was comfortable and I slept quite well.

10 minutes drive from the Arches National Park entrance. Walking distance to all Moab restaurants and activities. Rooms have nice little kitchenette, with a normal sized fridge. AC in the room was on the noisy side, but hey, it worked which was critical in the 107 F heat. :-) Staff is friendly and helpful with recommendations. This is a small... More

Booked this motel because the name brands were entirely too high in price. On arrival we met the couple that run the place. Both are very down to earth and very friendly. We met their yorkie pups and thoroughly enjoyed them. The check in was quick and after the visit we headed to our room. The room is well appointed... More

The Virginian was a great little place to stay in Moab. Friendly owners, clean living space, and convenient to Arches and Canyonlands. You can also walk downtown and there's a fun, affordable diner across the street! Nothing fancy, but a great place to crash at the end of a day of exploring.

Moab was very expensive, and this was the cheapest motel we could find (booking online). Despite being on a busy street, the room was quiet. It was great to be able to walk to restaurants. The manager was very friendly & helpful. they have a nice shaded picnic area out back.

We booked a queen room upstairs, we got room 228, great large room right on a corner and the only one with a window looking at the back of the motel, which has a river running by with a bridge over it very picturesque. Later that evening we went back there and followed the path for a long ways, even... More
