Castle Valley Inn has earned the excellent reviews posted by others. We are very glad that we drove the extra miles along the beautiful Colorado River to avoid the crowds and noise of Moab. We stayed in the Sommerville room, which was quiet and lovely. The owners are friendly and gracious. They are glad to make you a breakfast sandwich the night before if you need to start your travels before breakfast is served. We visited during a new moon and the view of the stars and Milky Way in the night sky after midnight was awesome! One additional note about this special place: the onsite birding is excellent. We saw or heard a large variety of birds, including black-chinned and broad-tailed hummingbirds, lazuli bunting, black-headed grosbeak, wild turkey, yellow-breasted chat, Bullock's oriole, and yellow warbler.…

Beautifull drive along the Colorado river to this B&B. Great spot, unique location! Nice hosts, amazing breakfast and a great, big, kingbed room. We loved the hummingbirdes during our breakfast at the patio♡ We spotted some mule deers and a lot off turkeys.

This is a fantastic Bed and Breakfast. Yes, it is about a 30 minute drive from Moab and the parks, but the drive is gorgeous and the inn is worth it. We stayed in the Anasazi Cabin - it had a queen bed, 1 bunk bed, nice bathroom with walk in shower, wrap around porch with chairs, table and even a grill. Very comfortable, very clean (a must for me) great grounds, beautiful scenery and quiet. Breakfast was fantastic, tasty, friendly, and filling. Highly recommend Castle Valley Inn, seems all rooms are great.

Away from the chaos of Moab sits the Castle Valley Inn. The situation is quietly set in dramatic surroundings. Accommodation is comfortable with all necessary amenities, a laundry would be a bonus. The owners are attentive and helpful. Breakfast is served in the dining room or delivered to your room. Very nice stay.

If you read about the charms and features of Castle Valley Inn on their website every bit of it is true. It was one of the most pleasing places we stayed on a three week trip to Arizona and Utah in September 2022. We especially enjoyed meeting Scott and Jennifer the hosts, and having a chance to talk to them a bit at breakfast time. They are friendly, down to earth and accommodating. My wife and I have camped at Arches a number of times over the years and we also have stayed in Moab. Staying in Castle Valley was fantastic. It’s a beautiful idyllic setting. The short drive to Castle Valley from Moab is along Colorado River Scenic Byway and is an absolute bonus. We stayed in the Fremont Bungalow. Loved sitting on the deck and looking at the bluffs glowing in the light of the setting sun. By the way, sign up for an entry time to Arches National Park in advance. And know that you might be able to modify the entry time the evening before your visit because the Park opens up new entry time slots in the evening one day ahead.…

Castle Valley Inn is located in an incredibly beautiful and peaceful valley surrounded by sheer canyon and rock walls in all directions. Although it is 15 miles/25 minutes out of Moab, the drive up the canyon along the Colorado River is stunning. We stayed there 4 days and loved the drive back and forth. Jen and Scott are tremendous hosts, full of suggestions and advice. Their breakfasts were delectable, and for those leaving early to catch a sunrise or a tour, they will pack a breakfast the night before with a breakfast burrito or homemade granola bar. We loved sitting on the patio soaking up the peacefulness and amazing scenery over breakfast. Our room, Hovenweep, was tastefully decorated, and had a kitchenette as well as gas grill, which were perfect for making dinner and relaxing in Castle Valley. We’ve stayed at B and B’s around the country, and Castle Valley rates up there with the best! Over our 3 full days in Moab we went to Arches one day, Canyonlands another day, and at Scott’s suggestion, did a loop around the La Sal Loop Road with a stop at Bull Canyon to see amazing dinosaur footprints. Why would anyone stay in busy Moab when they could stay in this beautiful valley?…

We had an extraordinary 6 day stay at the Castle Valley Inn. Our room, the Fremont, was spacious and very comfortable, with an amazing view from our deck. Jennifer and Scott were warm and welcoming hosts. We started each day with a delicious hot breakfast and Scott helped us plan wonderful ways to explore the area beyond Arches and Canyonlands. Best of all, we ended each day watching shooting stars from the stunning and peaceful lawn of this very special inn. We wish a six star rating was an option!

Cannot speak more highly of this place. We stayed in the Entrada room and it was great. This is tucked away (about 30 minutes from Moab) and is so quiet. The breakfast was delicious (they even give you a yummy breakfast to go if you can’t make the sit down times) and the hot tub is a plus. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend.

After a day of riding in the heat of canyonlands, it was great to get out of the noise, dryness and heat of Moab to this cool quiet property. I stayed in the Anasazi Cabin which was lovely and perfect- the softest sheets!!!. Breakfast was excellent with eggs, fresh fruit and banana bread. Hosts were gracious and helpful. Had the hot tub to myself early in the evening and was so grateful for that!! The star gazing was amazing!

We spent five nights at Castle Valley In. It really is a little oasis. Beautifully located. It takes about 25 minutes to drive from Moab. But this drive is worth it because of the extremely beautiful panorama. We liked it very much. All details can be found in the other reviews. Many thanks also to the owner Scott for his great tips and recommendations for our offroad trips in the Canyonlands. On our next visit to Moab there is only the Castle Valley In for us. Thanks! Thomas & Katrin
