Chris and Ed keep and share their lovely, reconstruction era home with guests as a B and B. Breakfast is always unique and always outstanding. Our beds were comfortable, and while we took the room without an attached bath, it was literally only steps away. In addition, the other room that shares the bath with our room was 'blocked off'... Chris and Ed, Innkeepers, oversee the circa home in Harper's Ferry, W. VA. The home is immaculate, accurate in detail to period of the home, and service is superb. Chris served the BEST breakages I have EVER had with a stay at a B & B. Majority of ingredients locally sourced and presented with an explanation one would expect at... More

Wonderful accommodation. Wonderful location. Wonderful breakfasts. What more can I say. Would recommend without hesitation. Owner extremely knowledgeable and helpful without being intrusive. The lower town of Harper's Ferry is very interesting with frequent free shuttle bus over to the National Park

Conveniently situated near the old part of Harpers Ferry. Lovely period rooms (beginning 20th Century), but with all modern conveniencies. Great view from our room and from the porch, and fantastic breakfasts. Our hosts invited us to a dinner & meeting of the Harpers Ferry Civil War Round Table; a memorable and interesting evening.

We stayed for five nights in this great B&B. Chris welcomed us and showed us round. We had the Pine-View room with a private bathroom on de corridor. A lovely room with great views and enough space to lay your belongings. The bed was excellent. The way Chris and his partner Ed run this B&B is up to a higher... More

My wife and I stayed two nights at Laurel Lodge on a recent visit to Harpers Ferry and we had an outstanding time. The home is beautiful and has an amazing view of the Potomac. We stayed in the Cedar View room and it was very cozy and relaxing -- especially after a long day of hiking. The lodge itself... More

Let's just say my family will DEFINITELY keep this on the list of places to visit again. The owners are both lovely, and have an extreme attention to detail (including the fact that they have prepared a tour of all the curios in the walls of the building). The rooms are clean, and quiet. There is a shared bathroom between... More

Thanks for the good words. We do want to correct the information on bathrooms, however. Two of our rooms have private, en suite bathrooms. The other two share the large hall bath. However, when one of those rooms books, we block off the other from use, making the bathroom private, but detached. The only time you share that bathroom is... More

Beautiful room overlooking the Potomac. Excellent food. Friendly owners who pay attention to detail on many levels. Good value in the price. Location is close enough for a long walk to downtown Harper's Ferry and a few minutes to drive.

Up in the hill and overlooking the Potomac place, this is a very good bed and breakfast. The rooms are airy and spacious and most of them have a great view. It is pretty well maintained and has some classy touches. Great breakfast.
