This inn was clean and airy and charming. Touches of art in many places - from whimsical painting in the bathroom to Central American hand made colorful art pieces. But just enough, not overdone. The beds were comfortable. The space was well-designed. The yard was pleasant to meander in - and hammocks on the porch! Peggy and Jay, the owners,... More

This is a modern B&B in that there are not tchotchkes or doilies or breakfast for that matter. Instead, you get an artful and well-designed relaxing space. The hosts, Peggy and Jay, were gracious and available to answer our questions. Lovely people! We stayed in the Forest Room where there was a coffee maker and refrigerator and our own living... More

The room and the house were very comfortable, and clean. The decor was colorful and included many items of international art and fabrics. Good coffee in the morning! The proprietors gave helpful information about the surrounding area in Harper's Ferry and Charlestown. They also us told us about great eateries in nearby town of Frederick. I would definitely go back... More

The house itself is situated on a bluff not far from downtown Harpers Ferry. We wanted someplace quiet with great views and trails and a place to unwind from our crazy lives. The room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. The prices were very reasonable and cheaper than the others that we checked out in the area, they don't serve... More

Perfect stay for our anniversary weekend. We had the whole bottom floor to ourselves, larger than our own apartment. You look out at the tree tops because the house is perched on a cliff. We took hikes, walked to town and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. Peggy and Jay live in the B&B which is Harper's Ferry style and... More

The reason why I'm giving this such a low review is because I felt like this was advertised very dishonestly. This isn't a B&B. We stayed in their basement, aka the "Forrest Room". Their basement is nice, but it's their basement. There was no private entrance and we could hear everything upstairs (including their dog on the hardwood floors above... More

This is a gorgeous house on the end of a quiet street in Harpers Ferry. Staying here felt more like staying in someone's private home than in a bed and breakfast per se. Very tranquil and a nice way to begin or end time in this lovely town. Thanks very much.

Peggy and Jay are fantastic proprietors. Peggy went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and we had such wonderful conversations with both Peggy and Jay. As for the accommodations, the Forest Suite proved to be the perfect amount of privacy for a much-needed romantic weekend getaway (it includes approximately 5 different spaces: the bedroom and bathroom, a... The walk to the restaurants, town and the rivers was perfect there's lots of cool old homes to see and we visited the appalachain trail Headquarters a must do. Peggy is a great hostess, breakfast... We really enjoyed our weekend get away! Met with our Shaklee group there. This place is great, the decor is sublime and the back porch and the sauna a real plus. A reduced rate$ gave us a chance to save a few bucks:) and the continental breakfast was all we needed. So peaceful to sit on the back porch and... More
