Stonehouse is a neat historic house located in downtown. The real plus is the fact that it has off-street parking. The couple/owners have a love work-in-progress. They radiate their desire of having a great B&B. I have discounted the rating only because of the work that needs to be done.

We just returned from a two night stay at the Stonehouse B&B. The top floor was perfect for our stay, with the AC a much needed amenity after a day hiking around town. The common area back porch also provided some tranquility after a long day. Chris's breakfasts were fantastic, with the conversation an added bonus. Great location and close... More

We were researching my great great grandfathers activity during Civil War. Wanted to stay close into the town. All the pictures can not do it justice. Communicated with Chris re arrival time and when I raised my hand to knock, he appeared! We stayed in the ' new' room, just completed with a huge balcony overlooking the train station (... More

It was our 10-year anniversary this last Thursday. And we just wanted a little stay-cation. So Harper's Ferry fit the bill. I know "Paris is always a good idea" but honestly, Harper's Ferry is more relaxing! Got in a little late, but we were greeted with "my mom's blueberry and granola griddles cakes and a lump of sausage"...or at least... More

Ashley and I had been driving for nearly 14 hours to reach our destination in Harper's Ferry, the day after Christmas. We had seen pictures of the little town; a blast from the past, but nothing quite compared to seeing it in person. We slowly turned off 340 at around 1 am onto the foggy Shenandoah St, having just crossed... More

Did you ever dream of staying in a cozy historical town, and have your delicious breakfast cooked by a celebrity chef? If so, go to Stonehouse. The inn keeper looks exactly like Zach Galifianakis and is a great conversationalist, chef, area expert, and comedian. Just plan a trip and go for the great bed and breakfast experience and location. Hiking... More

This is an excellent location for exploring Harper's Ferry. Location couldn't be better. Right in the heart of the tiny historic town. Parking is perfect. The price is right. The breakfast was abundant. It isn't a stuffy place by any means and that's why I say it's fun. I mean, you have your room, your bathroom and your breakfast. Simple,... More

Just went to the Stonehouse B&B this weekend and it was great! My boyfriend and I were looking for a quiet weekend away and the Stonehouse did not disappoint. We stayed in the newly renovated room and it was lovely. Very rustic and cozy and a great place to go after hiking all day. The owner Chris is very relaxed... More

Our stay at the Storehouse was very pleasant. Our room and adjacent bathroom were very good. Roomy, clean and well furnished. The breakfast the next morning was excellent and the service of the owners was also very good to accommodate our bikes and information about where to eat locally.

This B&B is under renovation/expansion but it doesn't impact your stay at all. Very, very clean. No noise to speak of. Awesome Signature breakfast in the AM! This B&B is worth the not very expensive room rate. It you love children and dogs, you may get the bonus of visiting a bit with the owners child and their dog. And... More
