The hosts were very accommodating! The room we chose was perfectly comfortable and cozy. The decor throughout was fun and interesting. After a walk uphill from town, we were offered refreshments and enjoyed some quiet time. Breakfast was fresh and delicious.....nothing like a fresh baked muffin and coffee on a breezy morning!

It's historical (Stonewall Jackson stayed here) and filled with period and more modern furniture, paintings, etc., but also with all mod cons, including wi fi. Comfortable and easy environment, charming room, host and hostess friendly and helpful and breakfast was exceptional.

My boyfriend and I ventured to this location after we hiked the nearby mountain. The room was a gorgeous blue and decorated nicely. The housekeepers were so sweet and attentive. I just loved their little boy and their mastiff! After we got home from dinner, we relaxed in the living room on the couches and enjoyed each other's company. The... More

The room was so cozy, and the hosts were so hospitable. We were offered drinks and snacks upon arrival, and served a full breakfast each morning we were there. We were asked if we liked coffee or tea, and both were ready fresh when we came to breakfast. The house is just a mile walk to downtown Harpers Ferry, so... More

We stayed here over New Year's and the weekend after - a total of three nights. We were in the Linden room. The room was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. All rooms were booked otherwise I would have asked to check out the other rooms just to admire the decorations and furnishings. The owners, Deb and Phil, were super friendly.... More

This B&B is actually a historical home conversion to its current state. The place was appointed in period furnishings which made for an historical feeling. Very nice. Our room was spacious and clean with a modern private bath. The proprietors are a husband, wife and small child and a large dog. They were extremely gracious. Since we were riding our... More

We stayed for three nights at The Jackson Rose in October 2015. We chose the ‘The Jackson Rose’ room after reading the reviews here and we were not disappointed. The room was on the first floor overlooking the front garden and it was beautifully decorated, spacious and with a nice, comfy bed. There was also a couch, two armchairs and... More

This bed and breakfast is clean, comfortable, decorated with interesting antiques, and the gourmet breakfasts are worth the trip in itself! The innkeepers are welcoming and helpful. We stayed on the second floor which was perfect for 2 couples-we each had a room and there was a comfy sitting room in between that we used for visiting, TV, and snacks.... More

We had a fabulous weekend stay at the Jackson Rose this August on a retreat to to beautiful historic Harper's Ferry. Our goal was to find a charming, relaxing environment to relax within close proximity of historic Harper's Ferry and the Shenandoah River where we had planned a day of rafting the relaxing low waters at the end of summer....
