We stayed one night. The room was comfortable but the sofa wasn’t. I like a comfy sofa when i stay places rather than sitting on the bed. The furnishings are period pieces so the sofa wasn’t plush. The host was nice and helpful. We were on no carbs so the breakfast was plain at our request. The other visitors had nicer breakfasts all made to order.
This was our first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast and we couldn't have been more pleased! From the moment we walked through the door we knew we had made the right choice. Deb and Phil are so warm, welcoming and helpful. The food is fabulous and their son, Jack is a real little charmer! If you are visiting the Harpers Ferry area, this is where you want to stay!
Lovely B&B. Conveniently located within walking distance to explore Harpers Ferry. Phil and Deb were wonderful hosts. As other reviews indicated, the accommodations are excellent and the breakfasts were outstanding. We will definitely be back again.
What a grand historic B and B nestled in the Harper's Ferry area. We were treated as family when we arrived. Deb made is feel so welcome. We had the Garret Room on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was wonderful as we met a family from Wheeling,WVa. Jack, Phil and Deb's, son helped with breakfast. What a delight!!! We give The Jackson Rose B and B 5 stars.
The Jackson Rose Bed and Breakfast is a lovely, historic home in Harper's Ferry. It was clean, quiet and the hosts Deb and Phillip were friendly, caring and helpful. Deb's breakfasts were delicious! It felt like home. We would definitely return to Jackson Rose.
