Wanted to visit a cozy B&B in early June for my bday. Picked the #1 rated one on Trip Advisor. What a great find! We stayed in the Jackson Rose room. It was large, with quaint comfortable furniture and modern private bath. On the same floor is a side room with TV, Keurig, microwave, fridge and a movie and book library. Nice backyard seating underneath a romantic lit up tree. Breakfasts were perfect each morning. Phil & Deb take a great house and make it a fabulous home experience. They've been doing this for many years and their experience shows. Their advice on all local matters was spot on. We had a great time here and will recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Just returned from our first visit to the area. The hosts are very hospitable, they truly go above and beyond. Wonderful breakfasts, conversations, the home is very clean, with thoughtful amenities and decorated beautifully. The Linden room was very spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom. There is a ceiling fan and white noise machine in each room. Enjoyed the garden (beautifully tended by their young son) the rocking chairs, the porch swing and even their cat. The area itself is quite nice also with restaurants, a small but well stocked general store and a bar all within walking distance. You will not regret staying here. Very highly recommended.

What a pleasure! The house was clean and well maintained. We spent 2 days there, had fabulous breakfasts, better food than any of the restaurants we went to. Extra bonus, lovely gardens. I would definitely recommend.

The Jackson Rose B&B was excellent. Great hosts, wonderful breakfasts, and so much history and charm to the place. We stayed two nights and would not hesitate to return again. There was early morning coffee available on the first or second floor. Saturday night when we returned later in the evening, there were homemade ginger snap cookies, cider and a carafe of wine on the dining room table that we could help ourselves to. ...... so many nice little touches.
