My husband and I went to Pinehurst for a short retreat and had a delightful time. The Inn: This place is clean, quaint, and well-decorated. My favorite was the bed with Comphy sheets (we have actually bought these because they're so great). My husband's favorite part was the in-room jacuzzis. We had 3 days of rain during our stay but actually preferred this so we could stay and relax in the inn. The real gift - our hosts: Mike and Becky were what made our trip 5 stars. Mike entertained us with his life stories and had excellent recommendations for runs, hikes, and places to eat. Becky is an incredible chef - we had chocolate chip cookies, mini pumpkin pies, ricotta pancakes, quiche all homemade. Everything was so delicious.
This was a wonderful restful weekend! The hospitality was exceptional! The room was so nice and well cared for. Food was amazing! One of our favorites bed and breakfast. Beautiful area with lots of hiking and scenery.
We stayed at Pinehurst B&B for a romantic getaway and we were not disappointed. I have never felt more cared after and more at home than we did at the Pinehurst B&B. Our rooms were phenomenal and the service was beyond our expectations. Becky and Mike made us feel at home. The food was exceptional and the treats were so good! We recommend this place to all who want to go and will recommend it to our friends and family!
My husband and I decided to get away for an anniversary weekend and really just wanted to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of life. We decided to stay at our first bed and breakfast, and I am so glad we choose this gem. Mike and Becky were warm and inviting. They made sure our stay was perfect. Breakfast each morning was nothing short of phenomenal, and a sweet treat delivered to our room was a special surprise each afternoon. The inn is located about two miles south of Bayfield, close enough to visit the town but yet far enough away to get that country out of town feel. We choose the Brownstone Room which is located in the Garden House, a separate building from the Main House. The room was delightful, with a large comfortable king-sized bed, a fireplace, and the best spa tub I have ever soaked in. After our soak we would slip on the luxurious robes that were provided and lounge in the comfortable chairs in our room. The weather was beautiful for March, and we shared a slow dance to our wedding song on our own private deck overlooking the grounds. The sky was clear and since we were out of town, the stars shown bright. It was a perfect weekend, just what we needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great, relaxing time!…
Our family had a wonderful experience at Pinehurst Inn. Breakfast was really special. Fantastic food from Becky. Mike had tons of information about the area, its history (including the house), and lots of stories from his own life. The house is really comfortable... took an hour long bath in our bear claw tub, loved the afternoon treats. We Nordic skied at Mt. Ashwabay, just 2 miles away!
